HABITAT'S "SEED-TO-PLANT" MAKES IT TO GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™

On 30th April 2019 Habitat Schools' UAE conducted a large sapling distribution event, "SEED-TO-PLANT" with the tagline, "spreading care" and achieved a Guinness World Records title for the 'Largest distribution of saplings.'

Habitat achieved this by distributing 9371 saplings as per the due processes laid down by Guinness World Records team.

The saplings were distributed to staff and students of all Habitat Schools. In addition we welcomed many students from Al Ameer English School Ajman, Indian School Ajman & Cromwell College who also participated in the event and received saplings.

Gulf Medical University Ajman supported the event by sending in its student volunteers who discharged key roles during the event as per guidelines laid down by Guinness World Records.

The great enthusiasm of students and unstinting support from the parents made this achievement possible.

These saplings will be cared for by Ajman Municiplaity in their facilities and later planted in various areas of different emirates ensuring that these sapling grow and contribute to the environment, to UAE and to the world. Our students will participate in the planting process as well.

Habitat School, Al Jurf Ajman was honored with Ajman on 25th February 2019 for being the amongst all the Private Schools in the Emirate of Ajman practicing Farming activities. The award was handed over by H.H.Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Land and Property Department and His Excellency Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi - the Minister of Climate Change and Environment. The Management, staff and students of Habitat School would like to thank both the dignitaries for felicitating us with the award.

Ms.Sunita Chhibber-CAO Habitat Schools, Mr.Wasim Yousuf Bhat- Dean Academics, Mr.Ashok Tiwari- Principal in charge, Ms.Ghadha Kavitha – Deputy Head Girl and Master Amal Shibu - Deputy Head Boy of the school were present at Al Raqaib Park, Al Hamidiya Ajman to receive the award.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Government of Ajman and Agriculture and Public Parks Administration Department for this recognition.
