1,648 Families in Likoni To Receive 1.4Billion as compensation for being displaced during the construction of the Sh39 Billion Dongo Kundu Special Economic Zone.
Investment, Trade, and Industrial Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria announced that the Government has released 1.4 Billion to compensate those who were greatly affected by the construction of the special economic Zone.
Speaking during an African Union Meeting in Nairobi, CS Moses Kuria stated that the compensation and settlement of the effected people will commence the following week.
The compensation will also be followed by issuance of tittle deeds for the 384 acres of land that have been acquired for the effected families.
