I Took My own Advice!

if you live in this part of the terrestrial divide called earth, then you are no stranger to the hardship bevelling almost everyone.

You know what i did ?

i studied the why millions of youths inclusive of myself complain about the state of the economy, although many i know seem to be doing fine, recently i heard someone say "this is the best economy in all my 50 years in nigeria" just like you i was dumbfounded too!

Now this is the result of my little research:

*People like us that complain sell nothing (be it a service or product)

*people like us that complain mismanaged the little they have

*people who complain the most are most times lazy and don't have any solid goal for life!

with this discovery trust me i am doing the opposite..
learn a skill and monitize it if you cannot sell a product, manage what you have especially in this inflated economy and hang on the armour or hard and smart work!...
i took my advice, please you should take my advice too

I saw an amazing post yesterday,
guess who wrote it? ...
The main point of what he wrote was that it is a mistake to think that time is going, time is not really going it is us humans that are "going" we finite and can get old, weak and die but time is infinite it can't end until the world ends.

Until yesterday that i was reawakened to this reality, i used to think that all the times I've been lazy and procrastinated, "i was wasting time" but now it is clear that I was wasting myself.

You too should think about it, Tomorrow is sure to come! (that's of course if the world tarries) just as it had been recycling for millions of years before now, the same process sun rise to sun set over and over again but one thing that is sure is that within now and the next 120 years maximum me and you reading this piece will be buried deep down 6 feets. Guess what's not gonna be dead? Time!

Humans will continue to go but time is here stuck in this loop until the person that created the loop alters it, so accept reality and do what you gonna do now that you can! procrastination, laziness is just you wasting yourself. Trust me I've met alot of elderly people and almost all of them regret what they didn't do ages ago not because they dont have time now, but because they wasted themselves.

It was the end of first term SS1 some years back and I had gotten a low class position like the previous term and I was completely devastated, I was moody and disturbed. In the cause of that sadness it downed on me that “If you cannot beat them you join them!” so my mindset change from trying to beat the class topper to learning what he was doing that I wasn’t.

Gradually but strategically I became friends with him and monitored closely the “juju” he was using to pass exams that I didn’t know about, will you believe that over time as terms continue to pass by I kept drawing closer to the 1st position spot until I earned one for myself!
(LOL it was a big deal to us that time)

Whanlai tanalai If I hadn’t gone close to that guy I wouldn’t have written this piece you are reading now because I for no smell 1st position and this whole story wouldn’t have happened because I had tried literally everything but I couldn’t reach that 1st position spot.

People neglect the effect their environment or people around has on them, why do you think it is almost impossible to see a billionaire in your slum? It is because like minds will always stay together!

Dangote friends are all extremely wealth or influential he can never keep a purposeless friend that has no value! And that is how it is.

The only reason we (me and you reading this) is in the position we are right now (whether good or bad) is because of our circle.

You see, it is a fact that when you open your mouth you tell the world exactly who you are consciously or unconsciously. Let me explain how this works.

"out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh"
when you talk you don't just tell the next person who you are or what you stand for, you allow the listener understand how your mind/heart works...
Do you understand that if a person can get you talking for an extended period of time he or she IF conscious will read you like a book?
for anyone to say even a word, it must first of all be processed from the mind, that means when someone conscious listen to 1,2, 3 ... words coming from your mouth he/she will logically fix them up to understand your mind.

One needs to be very careful when talking especially in front of reputable people, reputable people have high intelligence quotient they can read your person seconds after talking to you, what you say around such people can either lift you up or bring you down.

You don't meet a reputable person and let loose your mouth.

Not only around reputable people, there's what you will say around your guys now that will stop your friendship. I feel we need to pay attention to the words we let out because those words really say alot about us.

Some few days back i was messing with my phone, some things led to another mistakenly i turned off my Spellings suggestion feature
(you know those words that appear above your keyboard whenever you are trying to type a word).

Oboi! no be small thing oh!
all of a sudden i discovered spelling basic things became a challenge! i couldn't even spell "Plateau" correctly, it was after many attempts my brain came alive.

If you ever told me that i wont be able to spell Plateau at one attempt i would have never believed it, you will never notice your spelling deficiency if you actively use that suggestion feature.

now, if you want to rate your spelling skills out of 100 😅 i guess you should head on to your settings and turn off auto-suggestion on your keyboard for a week, if you can survive it wanlai tanlia your spelling skills is 100%!
