So I am starting to get away from firesticks because they are doing too much extra stuff in the background that seem to be causing performance issues. So I decided to try this onn. box. Only $20 from Walmart if you order online.

I have only been using it a few hours and it has been great. Very fast device for price. Loaded my apps with no problem. I do have some recommendations below just in case you buy it.

1. Disable Google's Play Protect - This is the play store security that tells you that apps are not safe. If you don't disable it will give you notices and even try to stop you from installing things from downloader.

2. Install Sideload Launcher from the Play store - You want to install this because some apps that you install from downloader will not show up on the main screen. You can only find them by going to settings of the device. This is another thing done by Google but its not big deal. Sideload Launcher puts them in its icon on the main screen.

That's about it. For 20 bucks you can't go wrong trying this thing out.

If you have been having issues with a lot of buffering lately or not even being able to login, most likely the problem is that your internet service provider is throttling you. It's been happening with a lot more users lately. You need to connect to a VPN. You can use your own or if you are using my app that looks like this you can use my VPN for free. If you are on a Apple device you will need to get a VPN service that specifically says it works on Apple. I will put a link to a free one you can try in the comments.
