The #DisruptEurope story
DisruptEurope.eu is a blog presenting startup, technology and innovation news and stories of European entrepreneurs and startups globally. Our story starts on the beautiful island of Cyprus. Our founder Panis Pieri launched the Cypriot startup podcast DisruptCyprus.com in March 2015 via social media, to provide media coverage for the uprising startup and technology scene in Cyprus. Currently, DisruptCyprus.com has 14,000+ organic social media followers globally. The last four years our founder attended more than 500 events on areas of innovation, startups, entrepreneurship and technology worldwide, providing live coverage with just a mobile phone and a tripod.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, we decided to launch our podcast #DisruptEuropeLive to share experiences and valuable tips to startup founders from experienced entrepreneurs, investors and c-level executives. We go live via Facebook.
