Super Le***an Horse RPG

1)Well-drawn pixel graphics, as well as good art. I would like to scold enemies for the relaunch of sprites, but this is not critical, especially since new sprites also appear until the very end of the game.

2) The gameplay, although it uses the standard Jrpgshnuyu formula, but dilutes it with a large number of dialogues and the absence of a grind, as such. The only thing I would like to note is that he gets bored, but the game does not stretch out, so the game ends almost at the same moment. And well, some more gameplay moments and enemies stick out stereotypes. (Mostly fandom based on the type of "Original Character", which is a redrawn Proto-Man or a Tent from a Ponnet, which has a plot-based lack of collision)

3) The dialogues here are certainly not Tarantin's, but I would like to note them separately for jokes and for deconstructing many moments from similar games. And I advise you in advance to play the game in English, because the translator is trying, but some jokes are stupidly not translated, so I would consider the version of the game in the original language preferable.

Minuses
1) The game is too short. I passed it in 2 and a half hours and well, there was a feeling that she was cut at some point (Most likely with a mountain). This is not a strong minus, but it is present.

8/10, yes, maybe this is too big an estimate in the context of full-fledged games, but today I'm rating fan games, so yes there will be a lot of "Near-Masterpiece" games, but objectively the game well has no downsides straight to put 6 or 7. I honestly am not sure about 10/10, but she... perfectly fulfills her role, so well, objectively she is good. Another thing is that it's not complex, it's still a game where it's very difficult for a developer to make a mistake. So don't take it as a call to download, it's really 10/10 in its niche, but are you a person who wants to play a game from this niche? Ponyvania: Order of Equestria
To be honest, I didn't pass it. Not because I'm lazy, but because it has one fat minus, which will be discussed later. The game itself was in Alpha for many years, but it was released 3 years ago. Let 's evaluate it

Positive
1)The customization of the characters here is excellent. Here, every parameter (Even color) affects something, especially the pony race (Or rather classes, such as Warrior, Trickster and Magician). I would also like to note that armor and weapons are displayed on your pony.

2) The gameplay, as in all metroidvaniyah, is not liked by everyone, but here the corners have been smoothed out as much as possible, that is, no backtracking (Mandatory). If desired, even the possibility of backtracking can be lost. Diversity can also be traced in classes, because if the same magicians often rely on elemental weaknesses, then warriors rely on a wide arsenal. Game design didn't disappoint either.

3) The graphics here are gorgeous, almost perfect pixel style. Not only does he look good in static, but he also looks great in action

Minuses
There's only one downside, but what:

1) Complexity. It is outrageous here in comparison with the castle, and this despite the fact that I played on an easy one, without penalties for death, so also with a level cap of 99. Enemies damazhat dofig, locations are built so that you can't pass them without damage, there are always some sneaks from enemies, yes, my God, some of them are more difficult than whole bosses from Konami's Metroidvaniy. And then there are also bosses, two per location, and at first everything is normal, although the first miniboss has an attack from which it is stupidly impossible to dodge, but it drives away very quickly, but the first full-fledged boss has a mountain of HP and Attacks that are impossible to remember (THEY appear ONCE PER BATTLE, WHO is a BITCH like that came up with). You can say that I am Fakin Casual and you may even be right, but I advise you to taste this game yourself, especially since it is free.

Fallout Equestria: Remains
This is a full-fledged game, without any "Buts". This is a real 2D Fallout, not some 5-minute demo from V4SY4 #, but a really high-quality product. But let's start in order:

What is Fallout Equestria?
In short, this is an independent MLP universe, which takes Fallout as a basis. It contains a bunch of stories, some of which are... amazing, I'm talking about the Project now: Horizon, think about 1780000 words, I'll remind you to read the Lord of the Rings trilogy five times. At the same time, it is fully translated into Russian. The original has 650,000 words and is based on a mixture of 1, 2 and 3 parts of Fallout and tells us about Littlepip, who escapes from the "Stall" for her imitation object Velvet Remedy and gets into the Wasteland, well, then there are 49 chapters of the plot, if necessary, then here is a brief retelling of all 50 chapters.

In general, this is a pretty high-quality fan fiction that does not slip into merisyushnost at the end.

Positive
1) Graphics, it is well made in the style of an animated series, of course some creatures look strange, but these are rather questions to the ent of the original.

2) The gameplay here is full-fledged, with pumping (A lot of differences from Fallout, even S.P.E. C. I. A.L was removed), platforming, normal shooting, even VATS were done. It can be seen that it was made by fans of both the MLP universe and Fallout fans. Telekinesis has also been added, which helps with Jumppuzzles, small enemies and Double Jumps. [A bit about] Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy — Opening of the Year!

To be honest, I, like most, first got acquainted with this team of untethered heroes thanks to the film of the same name authored by James Gunn and Marvel Studios. And, oddly enough, among all the films of the cinematic universe, it is the Guardians that does not pull me to review, although for most it is one of the most interesting and funny films in a huge movie series. Therefore, when the game was announced, I treated it coolly and did not give her any hopes. In many ways, this happened thanks to the disgusting Avengers game from the same Square, which tried to take the best of "Destiny" or "Warframe", but taking Marvel characters as a basis.

And what was my surprise that after the release, everyone started talking about the fact that the Guardians are just a cannon, an incredible adventure with interestingly written dialogues, history and competent interaction between the heroes of the team and the presence of the very atmosphere of comics about the defenders of the Galaxy. And the grades spoke for themselves. No one even put below 90 points. Then I had a desire to give the game a chance and try it out somehow.

Game Pass is an amazing thing! You never know what Phil will present to his subscribers. All of a sudden, in March, this game from Square got into the new monthly collection. It was a chance to get acquainted with this project, which I took advantage of and was impressed.

Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the few story games that I wanted to try right away! For me, this is a rarity, not all games deserve this, and if this happens, then for me it is a sign of the highest quality and a new item in the list of the best games that I have passed in my life.

When I start to remember the game, the first thing that immediately comes to mind is the interaction between team members and its implementation. And here I no longer mean combining the abilities of the Guards in battle, but the interaction between them during peaceful scenes. Their constant conversations, verbal sparring, banter with each other and just some endless number of replicas that do not infuriate, but on the contrary, entice and entertain - it's just great! This is one of the few games where I listened to all the dialogues, and with Russian voice acting, which is very well chosen and does not cut the ear. The actors did 110% of their work!

Such elaboration is characteristic not only of key characters, but also of minor ones, such as Lady Hellbender or Cosmo. In general, there are few characters in the game, but they are all memorable, have their own character and qualities. For example, Warlock is such a super-powerful dude who does not always speak in understandable expressions, or the same Lady Hell, who immediately gives heat and you really start to be afraid of her.

The main character, Peter Jason Quill, from time to time can maintain a dialogue with the team and answer their questions by choosing a replica. Moreover, it is not always clear which of them will be suitable for a particular situation. The options for choosing replicas and actions affect not only how the team will treat you, but also more global events that will play a role in the plot in the future. I will not hide it, I even restarted the checkpoint a couple of times in order to choose a different answer and see what it would lead to. As a result, the final will be the same for everyone, but how you approach it, in what mood — depends only on your choice. The episode at the very end with the ship is just a tower!

Since I also touched on the "action", then I need to tell you a little about it. And, in my opinion, she is weak. Although not so, it's just unfinished, as it seemed to me, although it has all the makings. The main character we play for is Peter. He is armed with his canonical (according to the comics) blasters, which he received from his father Jason. These guns, in addition to the usual firing of energy shots, have the ability to use various elements — fire, ice, electricity and air. Everything switches with one button and they have to be used in battle, because some opponents have weaknesses in the form of one of the elements. There is a small white bar under the health scale that fills up when elemental damage accumulates. When it is filled, the enemy will become and he can carry out a finishing attack. At first, you might think that even such a choice is not available in most action games and this will be quite enough. But here it is only the basis, it is, so to speak, the base.

Peter is always surrounded by his partners: Groot, Rocket, Drax and Gamora. And although they cannot be fully controlled, AI does it, for the place of this they can be given commands. Each of the 5 characters has 4 unique attacks that can be used during the fight. This turns the game from an ordinary action adventure into a kind of tactic, where you need to competently combine the abilities of each of the Guards in order to achieve maximum effect when determining creatures. For example, first tie the enemies with the roots of the Groot and immobilize them, then ask the Rocket to throw a gr***de there, then tell Drax to make a powerful jump from above and temporarily stun the enemies, and if someone survived after that with quick and deadly blows of Gamora to end the fight. The game gives a lot of opportunities for a variety of battles, but the only problem is that not all abilities need to be used, there are frankly superfluous ones that are completely unclear how and when to turn them on and why they were introduced at all. I found for myself two cool punches from everyone and only used them, although I pumped all the heroes to the maximum.

In general, all fights take place according to the same pattern, and besides, enemies have to be "sawed" for a long time, and some have several lives, sometimes you even get tired and think "yes, when will you die already". Fortunately, the battle scenes do not last long, in principle there are not many of them and they do not have time to get bored.

Therefore, we put the action 4 with a minus, but the study of the characters, their personalities and dialogues — a bold five. I haven't seen such games for a long time, the last thing I can remember in this spirit is Days Gone from Sony.

Against the background of other similar projects, thanks to the direction and scenario moves, "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy" stands out against the general background of all that misunderstanding that was released in 2021. To some extent, this is even another film about the Guardians, since all the shots, staging, camerawork and saturation of events are worthy of a full-fledged film adaptation. But here it's all in front of you, you can directly take part in this whole extravaganza of colors and actions. Each episode, each location is filled with meaning and some incredible amount of details, seasoned not only with funny and curious moments, but also with dramatic and adult episodes.

Each team member has their own skeletons in the closet, and we have to dig into them. And although it seems that the Guardians of the Galaxy is such a crazy and reckless team, ready for any adventure just to raise the credits, deep down they are very complex characters, with their own problems and experiences. The story of Drax the Destroyer is perhaps the saddest and saddest of all. This is not at all typical of such heroes, but it is at these moments that you really get into the characters and in the end, after going through all the difficulties, you become a real Team with a capital K, where everyone is ready to give their lives for their comrade! I give a standing ovation to the screenwriters, bravo!

In general, everything about the story, plot, characters listens only to the highest ratings and only for this you can already pass this game!

Separately, it is worth noting the musical content. As the Guardians believe, it is stuffed with references to Peter's childhood. This applies to all kinds of references to the pop culture of that time, as well as his musical preferences. Rick Astley, Wham, Billy Idol and a-ha are just a small part of the music that can be heard on the ship "Milano" and during the use of "Letuchka". Well, the moment in the final under Final Countdown is just something! You just get into the moment and catch such a buzz — words cannot convey it! The perfect final fight!

Before passing, I decided to review the trailers and footage from the game, and right away what I didn't like was the color scheme. Everything shown was somehow bright, too colorful, even eyesight and it was not always possible to make out what was happening on the screen. And also incomprehensible enemies, some kind of goo, bugs, and so on.

But, all this turned out to be just a false impression. The graphic content in the game is perfectly selected and worked out in detail. The color scheme is pleasant and not at all eye-popping. And the enemies are only incomprehensible at first. In the course of the story, they are replaced by ordinary soldiers and residents of different planets who are bewitched by the so-called Promise, around which the whole plot of the Guardians is built.

What is worth scolding is for the almost complete absence of bosses. Of the whole game, I remember only Fin Fan Fuma, a huge dragon living on an icy planet, because this is the only battle where I died 😊 The game is simple and made for everyone, the entry threshold is very fast, you delve into it right away and just can't turn it off, and it beckons you to see what will happen next and what the developers will present us further.

In previous times I touched on open-world games, with the exception of Death's Door, there were small locations with the principle of metroidvania. But what can you do, there are now an overwhelming number of such. Therefore, I will touch on Doom 2016 and Titanfall 2.

Both of these games are similar in mechanics (shooters, parkour elements, at least in one it's just jumping over platforms and climbing onto ledges, a simple and understandable plot) and the fact that these are linear games, divided into chapters. In general, quite a few linear games are being made now, mostly with an open world, or with a semi-open one, where they will allow you to return to the location later in the story (God of War), or for the duration of the entire chapter you can explore the entire loca, but without the possibility of returning here later (The Evil Within 2) or game services. Linear games are good because for their short duration of about 12 hours they give a lot to try and see. They do not pull out and do not distract from the narrative, only lead to it. There is a complete immersion and involvement.

Let's move on to the trophies. The game has a small list of trophies and there is nothing supernatural or unbearably difficult in it. And so there are only 34 trophies and one of them is platinum. It's amazing that there are all types of trophies here except two: skipped and for difficulty, in fact there is a trophy for difficulty, but it's atypical there and more about it a little later…

The game can be played on any difficulty as you like, but for the sake of this achievement you will need to pass the episode "UAC" at the difficulty level "Absolute nightmare". The difficulty is notable for the fact that after death you start the level anew, which stretches the training of a certain collision by a lot of trays… But there is a glitch with going beyond textures and passing this level in 5 minutes, although you still have to go through the first collision in an honest way, which is amazing glitch works on the current version of the game without any crutches or machinations. Everything depends on you here: go the easy way or show all the skill of playing Doom and pass honestly. I chose the easy way, and not because I didn't like the game or I don't know how to play, I just don't want to dig my brain once again.

So we got to the most unpleasant moment of this platinum, which is why many do not want to take it into account the features. There are 4 such achievements in total: Getting to know the basics - Go through basic and additional SnapMap training, Shareware - Create and publish a SnapMap map, We only dream of peace - Play 5 published SnapMap maps, IPXSETUP.EXE - Win a network match, The Guy from Doom approves - Reach level 5 in a network game. Multiplayer, as it usually happens in old games, is practically dead. I had to play only one match to get the trophy for winning and level 5 (beginner's luck?), but damn, how long have I been looking for it. To find people in multiplayer for one match, you need to connect to the American server in the evening hours after 18:00 (selected in the lobby) and wait. I waited for 20-30 minutes and went to play something else and repeated the procedure after a while. On the 3rd evening I was lucky, and I almost immediately got into the match. What struck me the most about him is that people are still playing and they are far from being fierce nerds who bring down in a matter of fractions of a second. In general, I was very pleased with this single skating rink. But the remaining two achievements disappointed me greatly. In them, as it is written in the description, you need to undergo SnapMap training. SnapMap is an editor of its own levels, where you collect what, where and how it will work. Why is the training stuffy? Because first of all you need to wait for a bunch of downloads, then you need to do one action and check how it works, then do something again and see how it works, link these objects and see… Nothing complicated, it's just that each such training eats up 5 minutes, and an additional bit less, in total it will take 30-40 minutes, taking into account downloads. Playing 5 published cards will not be a problem, yes, you will spend a maximum of 5 minutes, but it is much easier and less stuffy than learning.

Conclusion
Doom 2016 came to me with varying success. Everything is done well in the game, it's nice to destroy enemies, it's interesting to be on the Martian station, the only thing it lacks is replayability. If you want to get a different experience from the game, then go for high difficulty. So, in general, as they usually say: "A joke for the evening." I'm not a fan of the Doom series, I only played in the 3rd of the old ones, but it has a completely different atmosphere, incomparable with the new one.

Titanfall 2
Titanopad, it became the basis for the now popular battle royale Apex Legends, but many people have played Titan itself? I admit, I didn't play the first part, I don't ride in the apex because the battle royale is not my topic at all and it just doesn't come to me.

A dynamic shooter, takes place in one breath, a short duration, but during this time you can try out the entire arsenal of weapons for both the pilot and the titan. In a linear game, except to try all the available mechanics and weapons, there is not much to entertain yourself with. Except to go to multiplayer, if there is one. I don't want to offend the game in any way, but this is how all linear games are, they are good just for this, that they don't distract you to any unnecessary activity. Let's move on to the achievements.

There are a total of 51 trophies, of which 1 is platinum. There are collective, situational, for complexity and online. If you look at the list briefly, then nothing stands out in the eye. In my opinion, a pretty good set, except that the online ones were alerted…

This is probably the most fun and challenging part of the platinum journey… Let's start in order: a lot of trophies for killing enemies from different titan cores, for destroying an enemy by a Titan pilot, killing 3 targets in a tackle and while running along a wall, and a little mass murder. But there is also the most difficult trophy, its name is "... Surpassed the teacher", everyone knows the obstacle course in titanopad? Everyone knows the obstacle course. So that's exactly what pushes people away from taking platinum in the game. It would seem that run the lane fast and hit the targets in 33.25 or faster and that's it, but if everything was that simple… You need to learn how to run on walls correctly, choose the right weapon, develop a route ... or just watch a video guide and repeat after the person. It is unlikely that you will be able to do it the first time, but patience and work. The most important thing is to reassign the jump to L1 so as not to take your finger off the aiming stick. You'll have to get used to it, but it's even less hemorrhoids. I was able to do it in 50 minutes, yes, I took breaks, but they are necessary.

Online Trophies
There are three of them in total: for winning the match, for setting up equipment and for connecting to the Network (an analogue of the clan, as I understand it) and that's it. Matches are found quickly, apparently the titanopad multiplayer has gone to people more than Doom, although the games are one year old. That's all you got the coveted platinum!
