JEDDAH, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA — Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim attended the Renewed Engagement for Enhanced Collaboration of the Islamic Development Bank's (IsDB) Muslim Communities Dialogue Meeting on 13-14 December 2023/02-03 Jumada Al-Akhirah 1445 AH.

The focus of the meeting was the enhancement of the scholarship program of the IsDB in the Bangsamoro region.

The IsDB is a global Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) that works to enhance the lives of the people it serves by fostering social and economic progress in its member nations and among Muslim communities around the globe.

MARAWI CITY — Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim visited the victims of the blast inside Dimaporo Gymnasium in Mindanao State University (MSU) Main Campus during a Christian Mass yesterday on Monday, 20 Jumada Al-Awwal 1445 AH/4 December 2023, to offer support and comfort during this time.

The Bangsamoro Government, through the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), provided urgent financial and medical assistance to the victims and their families following yesterday’s incident.

The Chief Minister assures the victims of the blast that the government is ready to assist them in this tragic event and that BARMM will do everything to bring justice.

The Chief Minister was joined by Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU) Secretary Carlito Galvez, Jr., Lanao del Sur Governor Mamintal Alonto Adiong Jr., MSU-Marawi's former president and incumbent Director of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency of the Philippines Ricardo de Leon, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Romeo Saturnino Brawner Jr., Maguindanao del Norte Governor Abdulraof Macacua, and members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament.

LOOK | Thousands of men and women from the Philippines who memorized the Holy Qur'an graduated on October 14.

At least 2,806 Hafiz and Hafiza came from the different parts of the Philippines who completed the memorization of the Holy Qur'an were gathered on Saturday for the 2nd Commencement Exercises held at Camp Darapanan in Maguindanao Del Norte region of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

The activity was organized by Committee on Noble Qur'an Affairs.

BARMM was followed by Region 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) with 11.6%, Region 3 (Central Luzon) with 10.8%, and Region 4 (CALABARZON) with 8.6% of fish production in the same quarter.

Ministry of Agriculture, Fishery and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) Director-General for Fishery Services Pendatun Patarasa believes that achieving this was due to the strengthened collaboration between relevant government instrumentalities, the private sector, the fisherfolk, and other key stakeholders.

COTABATO CITY — Chief Minister Ahod "Al Haj Murad" Ebrahim led the Recognition of the Top-Ranked Bangsamoro Representatives in the International Qur’an Recitation and Reading Competition Since 1969 at the New Convention Hall, Mall of Alnor, on Wednesday, 17 May 2023 / 27 Shawwal 1444 AH.

The Holy Qur'an was the first book that the Chief Minister read and became his greatest accomplishment. As his father educated him and as one of Tuan Guru's students, an Arab missionary who taught the Holy Qur'an in the Bangsamoro homeland, the Chief Minister has conveyed his sincere gratitude to all the Qur'an reciters.

"Today’s occasion signifies the acknowledgment of the government of the Bangsamoro to all the Qur’an reciters and readers who have excelled in the field of spreading the words of Allah in parts of the world. That is why the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament has proposed and approved Resolution No. 306, which recognizes your efforts to represent our beloved homeland on the world stage by reading and reciting the Holy Qur’an”, Chief Minister Ebrahim said in his message.

"Your achievements are indeed worth noting, and it is only proper for us to confer all the distinctions and incentives you all deserve. Allow me to thank the host countries in which Bangsamoro has won their competitions. Your efforts in setting up a platform for our brothers in Islam across the world to compete are laudable. To all Bangsamoro and Muslim Filipino awardees, allow me to extend our heartfelt congratulations on the recognition you all have received for going the extra mile to represent our Bangsamoro. Today is certainly your day to celebrate your success”, he added.
