Amid Lockdown Routine immunisation is going on even in remotest areas of Kashmir Division

Kupwara, 01 May

As directed by Director Health services Kashmir, Dr Samir Matto that no kid even in remotest areas must be deprived of routine immunization to prevent re-emergence of childhood diseases, immunization is going on in remotest areas of Kashmir Division amidst Lockdown and COVID-19 Crisis.
To implement the same on Ground, today a female FMPHW Nurse, namely Posha Begum can be seen travelling on foot to reach remotest village, Jumagund about 13Kms from Patkhan Top which is itself 25 KMs from District Headquarters. About 50 children will be given routine immunization consisting of DPT, OPV, MR vaccines apart from Vitamin-A supplement. BMO Trehgam, Dr Nisar Wani is coordinating the efforts with active support from Dr AG Dar, DHO Kupwara.

State immunization officer, Dr Qazi Haroon applauded the efforts which are being put by Health Care Workers across the region and he said such images turn to be motivational force for others

Under the Dynamic Leadership of BJP JK President Ravinder Raina Ji and Gen Sec (Org.) Ashok Koul Ji, J&K BJP donates 3 Crore rupees in PM CARES Fund

After the appeal of Prime Minister Modi to the countrymen to donate into the PM CARES Fund to fight out the corona from India, Jammu & Kashmir unit of BJP contributed 3 Crore rupees in PM CARES Fund in one month of lockdown.

Earlier on April 10th, BJP contributed 1 Crore rupees in PM CARES Fund and on 20th of April BJP again contributed another 1 Crore to the PM CARES Fund through State Bank of India and on 27th of April BJP Contributed another 1 Crore in PM CARES Fund by handing over the Cheques worth Rupees 50 lakhs to the Chairman J&K Bank Mr. R K Chibber and Rupees 50 lakhs donated online by BJP workers/supporters to the PM Cares Fund.

BJP President Ravinder Raina alongwith BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and BJP General Secretary Dr. Devindar Kumar Manyal handed over the cheques of worth Rs. 50 lakhs to the R K Chibber Manager J&K Bank, Zonal Headquarter, Bahu Plaza Jammu.

These donations have been received from the former BJP MLAs, MLCs, BJP J&K office bearers, District Presidents, District Office Bearers, Mandal Presidents, Mandal Office Bearers, J&K Government Employees, Businessmen and common citizens including students, men, women and children.

Ravinder Raina, on the occasion, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a fervent appeal to the whole Nation and BJP National President JP Nadda had also directed all the party workers to donate as well as actively promote common masses to donate liberally to the PM CARES fund to help in the fight against Corona Pandemic.

Appreciating the role of J&K Bank, Raina said that J&K Bank employees have worked all work day and night and ensured all Banking services to the customers in the time of crisis and he called the J&K Bank employees as corona warriors and applauded their services to the motherland.

J&K Bank Chairman R K Chibber thanked the J&K BJP unit for supporting the Nation at the time of crisis and also made an appeal to the citizens to contribute generously in PM Cares Fund and J&K Relief .
