If you’re asking yourself, “Should I have a personal brand?”, one thing I’ll respond with is, “Well why do you want one?”

I really think you need to be clear on why you want to begin building a personal brand, and then go from there. Because the point of a personal brand is to show who you are while also adding value to your audience, not just sharing what lipstick you think is the best. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Only you can decide if that’s the route you want to take or not. There are of course going to be pros and cons of each, but I would base it on what is best for you, your business, and the goals that you are currently looking to achieve with social media! 🙌🏼

Working with a social media manager can open up a tremendous amount of time within your schedule if you’re currently a solopreneur, or have a small team! 🙌🏼

As a business owner, I’m sure you know the impact marketing has on your business and you are also aware of the time required to put into your marketing 🤷🏼‍♀️

So let’s say your social media workflow is currently taking you 5-6 hours per week to complete for the following week. That is a total of you spending 25-30 hours a MONTH just on your social media content 😳

That’s not including any other marketing material you have like a blog, podcast, email marketing, OR your client work! If you’re just starting out, this may be feasible, but as you begin to grow and scale your business, you’re going to want those 30 extra hours back… Even if they're used to spending some time with the family! 🙌🏼

This is one of my favorite quotes by one of my favorite Podcast Hosts 🙌🏼

I find myself repeating this to myself over and over throughout different seasons of my life because it is such a powerful reminder that I am always growing into the next best version of myself, and to always find the joy in life and not allow minor inconveniences to set me off track 🙏🏼

I need to constantly remind myself of this because it’s not a natural place for my brain to go when I’m having “growing pains” 😮‍💨

But what is really cool is being able to recognize the shift in real-time. When I am processing something and I begin to naturally draft towards the mindset of “falling in love with the process” first without going through a spiral and ending up with that outcome. 👏🏼

I also don’t want this to seem like that shift happened overnight… Truthfully, I have been listening to Kacia’s podcast since 2019 and it wasn’t until around 2022 that I began to recognize the shift within myself... 🤷🏼‍♀️

So don’t count yourself out, and remember to fall in love with the process friend 🫶🏼

I personally don’t think one is better than the other, I think it depends on taking a look at your marketing goals and really getting clear on what it is you are trying to achieve on social media 🙌🏼

Content batching is one of those things that once I learned a way that worked for me, it completely transformed the way I create content, and am able to create monthly content calendars for all of my clients! 🙌🏼

By following this system, I can create an entire content calendar with all of the content included in half a day or less. & not just so-so content, content that is actually producing results on social media 👏🏼

🚨I want to leave you with one last thing.
I am currently testing this theory I heard but try to not schedule your content to post at the top of the hour or half-hour (8:00 or 8:30). For example, I’m scheduling my content for those in-between times such as 8:07 or 8:43. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t know if it makes a difference but it’s worth a shot 😉

I wrote this blog during the one-year celebration of my “officially” becoming a Social Media Manager anniversary, and I don’t know if my path consists of me being a social media manager coach, but I do want to share my experience of being a social media manager because if this is able to help anyone during their own journey, that’s all I care about. 🙌🏼

This anniversary is technically in March because that is when I started my IG account and accepted my first client, but my “other job” at the time consisted of me being a social media manager so I don’t really know when the anniversary is… 🤣

Regardless, I wanted to share a synopsis of some tasks a social media manager performs, and some of my favorite educators and resources for those who are curious about becoming a social media manager! 🥰

Not only is understanding the social media buyer journey important, but the next step is understanding what content you can post during each phase to help move your potential clients through your sales funnel 🙌🏼

Let’s say you have a promotion coming up on your new course that’s launching at the end of June. How you can incorporate this flow is by through the month of June, every week you are creating content that is focused around each specific phase of the buyer journey 🤯

So then at the end of the month when your new course is live and the promotion is available, your audience has been PRIMED for a month leading up to this and are ready to work with you 👏🏼

Sharing a personal win today because I am so proud of the growth of my email list & Pinterest account since beginning them around 4-6 months ago!🥳

I am truly obsessed with Pinterest. I will more than likely search for something on Pinterest before going to Google…🤣

I’ve had my personal account since probably middle school and have been pinning and creating boards since then with no rhyme or reason, so when making my business account, I knew I wanted to be way more intentional with it 🙌🏼

Pinterest is such a powerful tool and I am so excited to continue diving in and learning more to improve results for myself and my clients 🥰
