The idea was born in a pub in London UK between Ollie Usiskin and Enrico Pinna. It was about a week after Allan’s Passing.

Mike Stern, Paul Wertico, Joel Taylor, Jason Rebello and many others, all involved on keeping Allan’s legacy alive. We were shocked and we felt we needed to do something special to remember him and honour his legacy. The idea was to make a tribute record, inviting many famous musicians to play Allan’s tracks for a charity project to create a new yearly music contest & festival. We were very honoured at the number of great musicians who agreed to play on our project showing great respect for Allan and his music. It has been a 4 year journey, recording, sending tracks all over the world to record the guests, mixing and mastering the tracks, finding solutions for creating the New Festival and the Music Contest. All also slowed down by pandemic lockdowns and many other obstacles, but we are here now and we are so proud to have found a way to honour His name. We hope you will Enjoy the Music

Happy Birthday Allan! After 4 years of hard work we are so pleased to announce to the world that our fisrt cd will be released on November the First 2021 Allan's Legacy is a Charity project dedicated to Allan Holdsworth. All the incomes will be invested in the organisation of a New festival and Guitar contest (first edition in London UK in April 2022). The success on organising the First edition will depend on your generosity and we hope to make it a yearly event which can finance itself and keep promoting Allan's music and legacy. For the first cd dedicated to Allan we put together many incredible musicians from all over the world. We have 19 of them and that's why our record is called "The Nineteen Men Of Tain".
