management skills in Leh
Leh, April 04: As a part of a five-day training
programme for Traffic Police Personnel in Leh
district. Head Constable, Ranjeet Singh, Indore
(MP) demonstrated his traffic management
skills to the Traffic Wing Police Personnel of
Leh. The Traffic Police Personnel followed his
instructions and enthusiastically coordinated
with the guest trainer to enhance their traffic
management skills. Senior Superintendent of
Police, Leh, Stanzin Norboo was present with SP
Traffic, Ladakh, Mohd Rafi Giri and other
officials during the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Traffic, Ladakh,
Mohd Rafi Giri highlighted the aim of inviting
the dancing cop, Ranjeet Singh, from Indore was
to upgrade the traffic management skills of
Traffic Police Personnel and enhance friendly
cooperation of Traffic Police with the people of
Ladakh. He also added that the Traffic Police of
Ladakh is also well equipped with handling
modern traffic gadgets like Speed Radar guns,
Breath Analysers, Body Worn Cameras,
Searchlights, etc which will help the Traffic
Police to convince people to follow traffic rules
for their safety and security.
Ranjeet Singh extended his gratitude to the
Ladakh Traffic Police headed by SP Traffic,
Mohd Rafi Giri for inviting him to Ladakh. While
highlighting the âTriple-Eâ pillars of road safety
which are Engineering, Education and
enforcement, he said that he is here to
contribute to the education and enforcement of
traffic awareness for safe and secure traffic
movement in Ladakh. Emphasising the aim of
the Traffic police to decrease the rate of traffic-
related deaths in India, he said that his skills
helped him in creating an optimistic attitude
towards traffic management and requested the
people of Ladakh to support young and talented
recruits in the Traffic police.

Protest held in Kargil against Shia target killing in Pakistan
March 06, 2022: Condemning the consistant target killing of Shia Muslims in Pakistan, Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust and islamia school Kargil staged a massive protest here in Kargil today.
Hundreds of People gathered at Jamia Masjid Kargil from the adjacent villages of Kargil city and marched through the Kargil main market chanting slogen against the brutal Killing of Shia Muslims in Pishawar, Pakistan By ISIS terrorist group during last Friday Prayers.
The protest rally started from Jamia Masjid and passing through the Main Market concluded at Lal Chowk Kargil where Asgar Ali Karbalaie (Senior Member of Core Committee IKMT Kargil) adressed the gathering.
In his Speech Karbalaie strongly condemned the brutal killing of minority Community Muslims in Pakistan and stressed Pakistan Government to stop the target killings. In his address Karbalai also highlighted the different local issues of Ladakh particularly the recent fee hike in University of Ladakh, untimely conduct by police recruitment and imposition of MBBS Compulsory Service Bond.
Karbalai maintained that the Al Qaeda and Al Nusra terrorist groups are demeaning and defaming the peaceful image of Islam with their extremism on the pretext of Islam. The ISIS in Iraq and Syria were also produced with the same idea to defame Islam.

student of Govt. High School, #ChuchotYokma, Leh gained appreciation by designing a #sensor_based mechanism to address the issue of #water overflowing from the tanks.
His project in particular, can be replicated to cater to the issue of #wastageofwater.
