Y’all may have noticed we’ve been MIA. A lot of things are changing around here. We may be back next year. Hopefully we will! Life is just crazy and we had to put some things on the back burner for a bit. We love all of our listeners and have so much fun doing this podcast! In honor of April being Child Abuse Awareness Month, this week we talk about the truly heartbreaking story of Crystal Reyes. A 3-year-old girl, whose life was taken by the very people that should have kept her safe.
Please note - This episode covers terrible things happening to a child. We understand that this may not be easy for you to listen to and you may need to skip this week. However, we both feel like Crystal's story deserves to be told, to help bring to light a a very real issue happening everyday.

Hey friends and listeners, just wanted to reintroduce ourselves as we begin season two! I know there are a lot of new listeners.

Every week, I (Brittany), tell Jessica a true crime case and we discuss it. We also discuss the dispatcher take on it as I have been a dispatcher 9 years and Jess was a dispatcher for 9 years.
On top of being a part-time dispatcher, I’m a PICU/pediatric nurse, mom of 4 (6 with the dogs 😂), newlywed (to my deputy hubby…another surprise being a dispatcher brought to me) and a domestic violence and child abuse advocate. In my spare time (what’s that?) I watch/listen/read true crime. I also love reading, writing, Harry Potter, hiking, soccer, boating and any outside activities with my babies❤️

Jessica, volunteered to listen to me obsess over these cases on the podcast. I’ll turn it over to her now…

I was a 911 dispatcher and supervisor for 9 years before leaving for my mental health 😂. I now work for a medical device company (and I get to work from home!!)

I’m a self proclaimed geek; I love to play Dungeons and Dragons, watch sci-fi/fantasy movies, reading, and anime. I’d love to travel the world and experience different cultures.

Those who have listened since day one will notice Kylee hasn’t been as involved as she was.
Kylee has decided to step back to concentrate on her busy life. We look forward to whenever she chooses to return as a guest or full time cohost. We love her and are so thankful for her support and we all remain friends over everything ❤️💜💙
