Imperial Polk Obedience Club AKC Scent Work Trial Jul 20, 2024 - Jul 21, 2024
This club is top notch in it's communications. Trial ran very efficiently. I would defiantly trial with them again.
Got Pepper's results emailed today. Wish all the clubs were so well ran.

Have an update on Indy's results. I got a txt message. I'm pretty angry right now that I got to pay for her to learn something new on my dog. When she told me 2 green spots I asked her if it was just the old puppy implantation sites. She said maybe. Hasn't she ever spayed a female dog that's had puppies before? Seriously?

This little girl goes in for her first surgery tomorrow. She will be spayed and that is the end of breeding for us. She is still a bit over weight even with the diet food and no snacks. It's a bit riskier but the vet says she hopes the spay will get her hormones under control and maybe she will finally lose weight.

I picked this event for his first because they're offering something I haven't seen at other trials, a special ribbon. First New Qualifying Score White & Blue Satin Ribbon
Some of you know Pepper has been reactive in the past and we worked very hard with Theresa Goodman to get past this. He's done great in public. This will be a whole new ball game though!

I just want to say that the members of Dog Training Club of St Petersburg and St Pete Dog Fancier Association are absolutely amazing! They are going out of their way to try to get Indy's High Trial ribbon to me. Even if I end up not being able to get it, their efforts are extremely appreciated!

The only one that won't be included is the Weave Poles. That trick is not something that can be taught in a 5 minute or less video 😉❤

Just got an emailed copy of my results from trial. Sonlight Agility Club of Brooksville is the 1st club that has done this. I really appreciate this for records! I was hesitant on going because of the kenneling out of car and this is Florida. Overall I'm glad we went. It was a beautiful setting, the trial was well run and the members were so friendly. I can tell why my trainer said it was one of her favorite places to trial.

Looking for some advice on competing with dyed dogs. Cricket's tail is taking a looong time to grow out and the dye isn't washing out. Im wanting to do a Rally test and I've only found one place where it says dyed dogs are allowed and it wasnt AKC.
Does anyone have any insight into Rally and dyes?
