With more than 100 entries, the 23rd edition of the Kerrville Holiday Lighted Parade delighted thousands who lined Water and Earl Garrett streets for the Nov. 23, 2024 parade.

It's the wildest three weeks on The Lead's social media channels and shows as we race around Kerr County, attempting to find all of the best Christmas light displays. The Kerrville Public Utility Board sponsors our annual event.

We've got some fun events ahead as we gear up for Christmas 2024. The Holiday Lighted Parade is Saturday and on Dec. 1 we begin our annual tour of Christmas lights, with a new twist — best business.

We have limited sponsorships for our 2024 Holiday Lighted Parade coverage and we're now seeking sponsors for our 2024 KPUB Holiday Lights Tour.

Sandy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kerrville where she sang in the choir, Saints Alive, and former Gloryland Gospel group. She was also a member of the Center Point Lions Club and American Legion Auxiliary Post 583.

Upon retirement, she assisted her late husband in operating water systems in Comfort and Center Point.
