Tabitha Diary Entry B7
Location – UIC Tabitha, Engines Room

Time – 4:00 SET
Well, the engines packed up again.
Luckily, a Cephilusk transport ship was passing by and offered to spot us a replacement for the part that had burnt out in hyperdrive.
Unluckily, they were still wary of us after the whole parasite situation (thank Tabitha we got past that). They refused to come on board and install it for us.
This left the underdeck mechanics with no other option than to try and figure things out via an old-fashioned video call. It was all going swimmingly until the translator began glitching. For all the lessons we've had in Cephilusk etiquette, none of it could've prepared us for the absolute maze that was navigating half-translated Cephilusk metaphors.
The Cephilusk mechanic, Mehlunk, was more than happy to help though. From what we could assume from her expression, she was having a blast. Turns out she loves humans.
Next time though, we should just call on the Mah’Abeu.
