I’m sure I’m not the first to say this but you can really lose yourself as a mom and or wife. Sometimes it really takes getting dressed and cute you know like mothering yourself to remind you, that she is so much more.

Happy 2 Weeks, Zyair Da’rez. 🩶

Here’s a few things we’ve learned about you these past 2 weeks…

✨You don’t play about your milk and it better be ready on time.

✨ You fart & p**p more than you burp or puke. Oh and you love to sprinkle people when they change your diaper.

✨You hate it when we change your diaper so you pick a fight by kicking and swinging.

✨You love to sleep in the day but rather be up at night.

✨You didn’t love the first bath we took you but we’ve clearly gotten better because you enjoy them now.

✨You love a good cuddle but do just as good in your bassinet. 🙏🏾

✨Noise doesn’t bother you, not only because your part Dominican but because we guess you’ve got used to hearing your toddler brother’s tantrums…

We can’t wait to keep learning more of you as you grow right before our eyes. 🥹

Greg woke me up this morning talking about “Happy Anniversary!” I looked at him like he was buggen and turned over. As he exited the room, I thought to myself what is he talking about & couldn’t go back to sleep from confusion. Anyways, I get up and ask him what he talking about. Apparently, today was the day I asked him “So we boyfriend & girlfriend or what!?” 😅.

I promise I’m not done with these…I was inspired to do something a lot more girly than usual. I wanted this look to be flirty, playful, pixie, & funky but still slightly casual—Hence, the mom jeans. So, light & hot pink with chunky shoes for a punch plus shimmer & glitter.

I came up with thislook in a matter of 30MIN the day of. I love my ability to make something out of nothing. It’s one of my favorite things about myself.

I was born on Father’s Day…

Fun Fact: Every 4 years Father’s Day falls on June 19th.

For many years this time of the year has always been awkward for me. Bitter sweet if you will. This year it was worst being that the silent treatment was no longer an option…But I’m glad that I was able to find the good in my situation because being able to celebrate another year of my life cannot be taken for granted. And I want to thank my husband, the amazing father of my son for going above and beyond to make me feel loved. I want you to know that I do appreciate you. .darez
Most important, thank you God for keeping me grounded because Wheeww the rollercoaster these past month has been quite a ride.
