Who wants to explore 2 countries for the price of one?😍😍 SAVE FOR LATER 🐚You can take advantage of many airlines’ free stopover programs. A stopover is when you break up a journey by spending a short amount of time in a connecting city, giving you the chance to explore a new destination without paying for an additional flight. This is usually done at no extra charge to you and, in many cases, can actually be cheaper than booking a short layover. 🤫Think of it as a long layover where you have the chance to leave the airport and discover a new location, typically ranging from 12 hours to a week or even longer, depending on the airline’s regulations. In the travel industry, this is known as “Stopover Paid by the Carrier” or “SPTC,” where the airline covers your stay and provides free benefits such as hotel accommodations or airport transportation. 🚌 Here are 3 airlines that offer it (nb there are at least 20 airlines that offer this- DM us if you want more details):✈️Turkish Airlines (TURKEY 🇹🇷 ): Economy Class passengers may stay one night in a 4-star hotel and Business Class passengers may stay two nights in a 5-star hotel free of charge. Apply at least 72 hours before your first flight.✈️ Qatar Airways (QATAR 🇶🇦 ): Enjoy a stopover in Doha with various offers including hotel stays (4* and 5* hotels from $14 per night)✈️ Etihad (UAE 🇦🇪 ): Choose a one or two-night stopover in selected 3* and 4* hotels or get up to 40% off Abu Dhabi’s most exclusive hotels for two to four nights. Apply at least 5 days before your first flight. (Or if you are stopping in Abu Dhabi for 10 – 24 hours - get a complimentary accommodation close to the airport in Premier Inn or Aloft Abu Dhabi)Check specific conditions of each airline’s stopover program on their official website (you can just write “Turkish airlines stopover program”) 💪🏼 Do you have any experience with free stopovers?#turkishairlines #etihad #etihadairwa

THE BEST ONE WEEK IN CROATIA ITINERARY ⬇️ If you only have a week to spare, this itinerary will take you through all the highlights of Croatia in just seven days.🤝🏼🌿 Day 1: ZAGREB (If you’re arriving in Croatia by air, you’ll probably fly into Zagreb Airport. Zagreb doesn’t get much attention (like Prague, Vienna, or Budapest), but we do recommend spending at least one day in the capital (cuz there are plenty of things to do. BONUS TIP: rent a car in Zagreb)🌿 Day 2: PLITVICE LAKES National Park (a chain of 16 perfectly clear green lakes joined by countless bigger and smaller waterfalls- about 2 hours away from Zagreb by car)🌿 Day 3 - 4: SPLIT (visit the Old Town, Diocletian’s Palace, climb to the top of the Marjan Hill for a view over Split, grab a drink at The Riva)🌿 Day 5: ISLANDS - day trip (Split is the gateway to many of the most famous islands along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, such as Hvar, Brac, and Vis. There are plenty of boat tours so you can check that as well.)🌿 Day 6 - 7: DUBROVNIK (In the morning, depart Split and head further south to Dubrovnik. Explore the Old Town, and City Walls, learn about the fascinating history, visit Lokrum Island, visit Lovrijenac Fortress, climb, or take the cable car up to Mount Srd for incredible sunset views over the city.)🌿 Day 8: Fly or drive back to ZagrebAnd that’s a wrap on your one week in Croatia! Although you could easily spend weeks exploring Croatia and still not see it all, you can actually get a lot done and cover a lot of ground in just one week too. 👌🏼We hope this itinerary helps and we hope you enjoy your time in Croatia!🇭🇷SAVE THIS ITINERARY!☺️#croatia #travelcroatia #croatiafulloflife #visitcroatia #travelcroatia🇭🇷 #travelcroats
🇭🇷 Croatia is such a buzzing destination with travelers at the moment, and it’s only going to grow in popularity over the next few years. 👐🏼 But in this post, we won’t tell you about our world-famous historical old towns, like Dubrovnik and Split, or the most famous beaches - because we’ve already covered them in previous posts. Now it is time to get to know some lesser-known Croatian gems!☺️🐚 Snorkel, swim, and hike at Cape Kamenjak Nature Park🐚 Hunt for lesser-known beaches of Makarska Riviera (Velika Duba, Kraljev Gaj, etc.)🐚 Lim Fjord (a fun day trip from Rovinj)- but note that the fjord can only be seen from one viewpoint🐚 Explore Velebit: stunning, untouched, wild, unpredictable, harsh 145 km long mountain range (if you like hiking)🐚 Stroll the old towns of Zadar, Sibenik, and Trogir (they are so close to each other and they are BEAUTIFUL- we can’t decide which one is our number one)🐚 Visit the Istrian Peninsula: the old town of Rovinj in particular (it kinda feels like Venice)-and yes, this town is actually quite famous - but we love it and we wanted to add it to the list🤍And swim/snorkel/visit 📌 Zavratnica Bay, of course 😍In one sentence: “Croatia has it all” (we are not subjective AT ALL😂). And during your time here, you should aim for the perfect mixture of beach time, sightseeing, and hiking. ✨Have you ever been to any of these places? 🌸 SAVE THIS REEL for your next trip to Croatia and explore every bit of this beautiful country (we proudly call our home 🏡 ). #zavratnica #zavratnicabay #zavratnicabayviewpoint #visitcroatia #croatiafulloflife #travelcroats

Bali is a beautiful island (don’t get us wrong 😅) but you should know when to visit it! ✈️ 📌 We spent almost 3 weeks in Bali (January - February) and man, IT RAINED 🌧️ . Every single day. We would wake up early, get ready to visit some locations and it would almost always start raining. So we would have to cancel our plans or wait for rain to stop. Lol 🥲😅So when is the best time to travel to Bali, Indonesia? 🇮🇩 Although warm and tropical year-round, the weather in Bali features two distinct seasons: the dry and the wet.🌧️ PEAK OF THE WET SEASON: December to February (and that is Bali’s summer! If you’re planning on visiting during this period, make no mistake: it will rain!)☀️ PEAK OF THE DRY SEASON: June to August (the dry season brings warm, blue skies and cool winds in the evening – with less humidity and this is the best time to do cool activities, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking, and surfing! 🏄♀️)🌾 BONUS TIP: If you want to see the rice paddies/ terraces (“as in the video”) you should know that planting seasons are from January to February & July to August and harvesting takes place from April to May & October to November! 📌 Tegalalang Rice TerracesSAVE THIS REEL if you’re planning to visit Bali! 🤍#visitbali #bali #baliisland #baliindonesia #travelcroats
How much does it cost to travel in Sri Lanka? 🇱🇰 (Video: *day)We spent almost 2 months in Sri Lanka and we broke down all of our daily expenses to give you an idea of what costs to expect when you budget for a trip to Sri Lanka. 👌🏼📝Overall, Sri Lanka is one of the cheapest countries we’ve been to and it is possible to travel it on $20 - $30 per person a day. 💵 Food and accommodation can be dirt cheap, but they can also can be pricey depending on if you’re willing to stick to the local cuisine and guesthouses or you’re more “western choices” type of person. 🥘 Speaking of coffee, if you are looking for good coffee, you’ll have to pay for it, alright? ☕️ around $2 lolTransportation is some of the cheapest we’ve ever taken anywhere in the world (like you will pay less than $2 for a 7-hour train ride 🚂) 😅 or you can rent a tuk tuk for anywhere between $4 and $6 per day.The most expensive category in a SL travel budget are tourist attractions (safaris and national parks, ancients cities, whale watching, etc)So yes, Sri Lanka is very affordable and yes, you should visit it! ASAP lol 😝 SAVE THIS REEL AND FOLLOW FOR MORE TRAVEL TIPS AND EXPERIENCES 👌🏼🤍#srilanka #visitsrilanka #travelsrilanka #srilankaexperience #travelcroats

❌ Five MISTAKES to avoid while in Croatia Huddled between the Balkans and central Europe, Croatia 🇭🇷 is a country rich in history and natural wonders from limestone caves, endless forests to scenic pebble beaches 🏖️Here are 5 mistakes to avoid:🐚 UNDERESTIMATING CROWDS: During peak tourist seasons, popular spots in Croatia can become quite crowded. It’s a good idea to plan your itinerary carefully and consider visiting popular attractions during off-peak hours to avoid long lines and large crowds.🐚 SKIPPING LOCAL CUISINE: Croatian cuisine offers a delightful blend of Mediterranean and Central European flavors. Don’t miss out on trying local dishes like seafood, grilled meats, and traditional pastries. Avoid sticking to familiar fast food chains and explore local restaurants for an authentic experience.🐚 !!! There’s more to Croatia than just Dubrovnik 🐚 NEGLECTING CASH: While credit cards are widely accepted in Croatia, it’s a good practice to carry some cash, especially in rural areas or when visiting small businesses. Some places might not accept cards, so having local currency can come in handy.🐚 NOT EXPLORING BEYOND THE COAST: While Croatia’s coastline is breathtaking, the interior regions offer unique cultural experiences too. Don’t limit your trip to just the beaches—consider exploring national parks, historic towns, and the picturesque countryside.SAVE THIS REEL FOR YOUR NEXT TRIP TO CROATIA and remember to research and plan ahead to make the most of your trip to Croatia!#visitcroatia #croatiafulloflife #croatiatravel #croatiatrip #travelcroats
CAME FOR ICE CREAM, LEFT WITH TRUST ISSUES 😂Honestly, SKILLS! They trick people in a way that leaves them smiling instead of pissed off. Not an easy thing to do. 😂👏🏼THE STORY BEHIND IT: In Turkey you can find a very special ice cream made out of goat milk and the roots of wild orchids. The traditional Maraş ice cream originally comes from Southern Anatolia. It takes very long to melt and is unbelievably chewy. It used to be enjoyed by the sultans but nowadays street sellers enjoy vending it. 🍦 Ice cream purchasers will often need to show patience and strong nerves in destinations like Istanbul! 😅🌸🌸🌸 Have you ever had Turkish Ice cream? #turkishicecream #turkishicecream🍦 #turkeyicecream #icecream #icecreamtricks #travelcroats
