Theme: "Transforming Minds For Accelerated Youth Development"

According to the above theme for our day as youths today, ICU took part in the general march past and it ended as a successful program for all youths.
Later late afternoon, ICU participated in the live program at Muvi tv under the motion "can Zambia develop without donor aid?" And information and communications university (ICU) was propposing to the above motion. It was really a tough competition between information and communications university (ICU) and Cavendish university and the second motion was "Is Zambia's education curriculum suitable for development?" which ICU competed with phoenix university and in all two different motion they scored second position. It was a nice debate show that showed the confidence and skills of every speaker from all universities participated.

THE EXAMINATION COUNCIL OF ZAMBIA (ECZ) WILL HOST THE 38TH ASSOCIATION FOR EDUCATION ASSESSMENT IN AFRICA CONFERENCE UNDER THE THEME "EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT FOR DEVELOPING 21ST CENTURY SKILLS"FROM THE 21ST TO 26TH AUGUST 2022 AT THE PRESTIGIOUS AVANI VICTORIA FALLS IN LIVINGSTONE ZAMBIA. THE CONFERENCE WILL ALSO HAVE A ONE DAY DRILLING IN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND PSYCHOMETRICS IN EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT BY EXPERTS WITHIN ZAMBIA AND ABROAD.

ON 3rd MAY, 2022 JOURNALISTS IN ZAMBIA AND THE WORLD OVER WILL COMMEMORATE WORLD PRESS FREEDOM DAY (WPFD) THEMED "JOURNALISM UNDER DIGITAL SIEGE".

The Free press initiative (FPI) Zambia will join others in commemorating this day. which is used as a platform for a deeper reflection on the work of the journalists and other media workers in Zambia, the southern Africa region, the entire continent and the world.

Much as we celebrate this day, it is very difficult for us to do so fully because journalism in our country today is completely under digital siege.

journalism is under digital siege when online spaces are flooded with below-the-standard material in the name of journalism that has robbed many of our trained journalists the pride they previously had as professional disseminators of news.

Dispite this gloomy picture, enormous opportunities for innovation do exist for our media to take over the digital space with well written and verified information and use of new digital platforms for disseminate of information to our people. this further calls for exceptional conduct in our work to ensure that we distinguish ourselves from the untrained information disseminators.

Miss ICU Zambia 2022 competition date was postponed to further date as the university is still waiting for the full time students to return on Monday 2rd May, 2022.

Residential are still going on at information and communications University (ICU) and starting on Monday 18th to Friday 29th April the school of Humanities and school of Business will be attending the lectures. It has been discovered that 60% of the distance students are complaining to say that, the time period for them to attend lectures is not enough worse to this semester where some of the courses are not appearing on the first week of the residentials for the school of Humanities and the school of Business. example given under the school of Humanities are the courses under the program of mass communication particularly those on the 4th semester. looking forward to change as the university particularly the school of authority is working on this issue let me hear about what other students have to say about this. your thoughts of advice to the school or complaints are welcome.

After hult prize launch, the Information and Communications University is sponsoring more than 10 projects with funds and advice support. students who were nothing are now onto big things. let's all support our fellow students by encouraging them to continue with the ideas of changing and making peoples' life better globally. your thoughts are mostly welcome
