is one of the most exciting new faces in modern Jamaican dancehall. Born “Devonte Reynolds” at the “Jacobi Medical Center” located in the Morris Park neighborhood of The Bronx. He lived between New York, Florida, Port Antonio, St Elizabeth, St Mary & Westmorland, Jamaica as he worked towards completing his early primary school education until finally in 2010, he graduated Black River Primary & Infant School. DeDe Then attended “Lacovia High School” located in “St. Elizabeth, Jamaica” for his first year in high school, the following year he was transferred to “Happy Grove High School” located in “Hector’s River Portland, Jamaica” for his second and third year of High School there he was always getting in and out of trouble, suspended form school 15+ times for those two years. He got in an serious altercation where he was stabbed multiple times and got his head burst. That was enough for his Mom “Zoesha Crossman” to finally made up her mind to send him back to America.

DeDe then migrated to “Miramar, Florida” where he attended “Miramar High School” for his fourth year in high school. As a student there, he started writing verses and became a campus favorite after two energetic performances at his table where the Jamaicans eat lunch. It was only natural that he transitioned to recording and pursuing music full time, which he did after recording “Roll Out” In 2015 at age 15 this was his first official studio session and first official single. He then migrated back to “The Bronx, New York” in 2017 where he attended “The Bronxwood Preparatory Academy.” During this time he recorded “Fully Chip” schoolmates favorite, couple months later he’d eventually drop out of High School to focus more on his musical journey. Following up with his dream months later Hits like Eva Clean, Life Nice & Gyalhattan would later be added to his catalog. He decided that he would perform under the moniker “DeDe” because it was a childhood nickname given by his Mom…⏳
