I bet you all forgot about me! Well, despite repeated delays and setbacks, I haven't forgotten about you or this project. The new issue will be released in about an hour or two (after I make dinner!). However, there is a small change to this month's release that I wanted to update you all on. Due to the way billing is done (on the month following the actual release of an issue) if I were to completely finish up Issue #2, it wouldn't go out until tomorrow, which would push my billing back to April 1st. I don't want to be another month behind, so I'm releasing Issue #2 in two phases. The first will include the first half (Parts 2 of "The Last Scion" and "Candle to the Devil"). Hopefully, no more than a week later I'll be dropping an updated version that will include the second half (Parts 2 of "When the Stars Were Gone" and "Beneath the Juniper Tree"). I want to be totally clear, there will be no charge for these updated editions. In essence, this update will be the "complete" Issue #2. You will only be billed the first time and will automatically receive the update with no associated fee.

Also, this issue will be the first (I hope of many) that will include cover art by the talented Jacob D. Cohen.

I am having a hard time finishing this issue and need inspiration. Did anyone read the first one so far? Any thoughts? All opinions (even negative ones) are welcome.

Due to other obligations and a considerable amount of stress November's issue MAY be delayed. I know that missing my second issue is a real bummer, but this month has been kind of nuts. There is about a 50% chance at this point that I won't make my November 30th deadline. In that event, you won't be charged in December and I'll push the issue to sometime next month at which point you'll be billed in January. I still hope that maybe I can get it done on time, but in the event I fail to, I apologize to anyone who was looking forward to it. Just know this is at worst a delay and not an end.
