This mighty little church!
Not that my grandfather was that of a believer. But this church meant the world to him. A few years ago he and his neighbour, and also his best friend, created something really magical up in here. Together they made this annually scene of the christmas story, and it has been a real tradition ever since.
Since then, thousands of people would come to the little town of Wezeren, where my grandfater used to live, just to see these little tiny figures. Always so proud of what he accomplished here! 🫶

Next up is this little garden, or like we call it 'ze stuk'.
My grandfather loved to make his own crops like carrots, strawberries and even potatoes. Back in the day he always gave our family a bunchload of his own made crops, planted at this garden.
Since he past away, there weren't many people who set foot on this ground. So as you can see it's looking a little bit abondened right now. But believe me when I say this little piece of ground was a true masterpiece back in the day!

One of the many places my grandfather loved was this lovely camping. Layed in the 'Jupilerke Laan' he and my grandmother used to have a little camper.
Almost every summer memory me and my cousins have, are made at this place. As a kid in our family, this was the place to be, together with grandma and grandpa.
He loved how he could come to peace in this place and how you really could forget the rush of life in this place.
I also remember that every time there used to be a storm nearby, my grandfather rushed to the camper to see if everything was allright. So many great memories of this place 🫶

Starting the new year with some exciting news, but with a twist!
As some of you might know, my family and I lost our beloved grandfather a few months ago. This had a huge impact on us, and me. Therefore I immediatly wrote a song about him.
He was a simple and humble person and that's exactly what I wanted this song te be. Maybe not what you're used of me, but something else...more simple and emotional.
The next few days I will take you with me on a journey to some of my grandfather most loved places. They all meant something to him and played a huge role in his life.
Next wednesday, the 11th of januari, this song will then be released. The same day as my grandfathers birthday.

We took the ON TOUR concept to international grounds by playing a set in France and Croatia 🔥
