Most of us go into labor with an idea....subconscious or otherwise.

We are scared of the pain but we are also waiting....

You know for those key tv/movie moments phrases we all know and love....

"My water just broke"
"I can see the head"
"One more big Push"

I did get that moments...but my birth plan didnt go the way i had envisioned.Even though I'd printed and laminated it.

But what I got was something better.

I got our son.I got to walk out of the hospital.I got to be a mom.

And that makes the swelling,the body binder and the pain all worth it.Because in the end the moment we really hope and wait for is this one.
