TVS has just unveiled their new Apache RTR 200 4V. The bike is available in new matte blue colour and is equipped with some first-in-class features.

The new Apache RTR 200 4V gets three riding modes – sport, urban and rain. These modes alters the power delivery along with ABS calibration. In sport mode, the rider will be able to use the maximum power and there will be least ABS intervention. In rain mode, there will be maximum ABS intervention to keep the rider safe. In urban mode, the overall power delivery will be linear and will also provide the best fuel efficiency. These modes can be changed on the fly through a dedicated ride mode switch. The bike also gets adjustable Showa front suspension with preload adjustment. There’s also 3-step adjustable clutch and break levers now.

The 2020 Apache RTR 200 4V continues to be powered by 198cc single-cylinder four-valve oil-cooled engine that produces 20.2bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 18.1Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The bike rides on telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the back. Anchoring power comes from disc brakes on both wheels and there's dual-channel ABS as standard.

On the feature-front, the RTR 200 4V gets the recently launched SmartXonnect instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and also dual-channel ABS as standard with RLP (Rear wheel Lift-off Protection) control and an RT-Slipper Clutch. Both motorcycles feature new ‘feather touch’ start, wave bite ignition key and new claw mirrors.

The bookings for the new Apache RTR 200 4V have begun at all showrooms and the deliveries will commence in the next few weeks.
