BIG SHIPPING UPDATE
It's a holiday miracle, friends. After enduring vinyl delays for the past 18 months, the last two delayed titles are now shipping in Europe. Graveripper "Seasons Dreaming Death" and Black Knife "Baby Eater Witch" will ship in the USA within 2 weeks, as soon as they clear customs.

The bands and I want to thank everyone who remained patient with us during this extraordinary delay. Thank you also to the bands for their support and trust. Much love to Mercenary Press for waiting with us for the Black Knife record, and remaining understanding.

I do expect to have around 20-30 available copies of each album. After the first wave of shipping is completed, I will announce when those copies are being added. I just need to prioritize the people who have waited before accepting any new orders.

This month's Blood List includes a wild array of heavy and hot-blooded bands across thrash, doom, death metal, hardcore punk, and more. Here are some of the new releases we loved blasting in the Wise Blood dungeon in August:

ANCIIENTS - Their 2013 "Heart of Oak" LP was in my top 10 that year. I think of them as Canadian Opeth. Eh-peth?

Dread Ogre - One of the very best doom albums of the year.

Gutvoid - Brilliant death/doom from Blood Harvest Records.

Deceased - King Fowley, King Volume, and King Diamond are the only monarchies I acknowledge.

Demiser - If you haven't daydreamed about a Demiser/Wraith/Graveripper tour then you don't love thrash.

Sooks - Ferocious Australian hardcore punk.

EARTH SHIP - Gritty & sludgy German doom.

Swage - Snarling, savage crust punk for metalheads.

Grendels Syster - Hat tip to Brad Sanders for introducing me to this mesmerizing record!

In the dead of night we launched pre-orders for FASTER THAN THE DEVIL 3, the third chapter of Wise Blood's savage four-band thrash series. The "Faster" series is always one of my favorite and most ambitious releases of the year. In the past this series featured new tracks from Graveripper, Wraith, Vicious Blade, and more. For Volume 3 we are thrilled to join forces with four more of our underground favorites: Bloodletter, Ninth Realm, Acid Mass, & Grozov.

You can listen to a song from each band and pre-order Faster Than the Devil 3 now on Bandcamp.

We have some awesome translucent orange/black splatter Vinyl, pro-replicated Jewel Case CDs, and Transparent Red cassettes ready to order. Happy one year anniversary to Graveripper's "Seasons Dreaming Death." We are so proud of this album and all the thrashers who supported it across the past 366+ days. We still don't have the Vinyl that has been long delayed and haunting our nightmares, but we do have an update from the plant on slide 2. They are expected to finally land at the warehouse this week and start shipping next week.

Until we receive the vinyl, we are making each Graveripper album a free download on Bandcamp. Grab your copies and enjoy their blackened blasts of hellish thrash. New music on the way soon!

Mother of Graves just revealed the first single from their upcoming new album "The Periapt of Absence." Listen to "Upon Burdened Hands" and support this album, their first with Profound Lore Records.

Even though Mother of Graves is on a different label now, expect me to be a very vocal cheerleader. Please prioritize supporting their new music. But if you have some money left in your metal fund, I do have Vinyl and CD Bundles available including both of their Wise Blood albums.

Amazing band, and the members are all super-talented gentlemen. A true honor working with them, and I'm psyched to see more and more people discover these death/doom titans.

After we made their music free to download on Bandcamp we were psyched to see the album surge back into the Doom genre's top 4 best-sellers the past 3 days. You can grab their newest record "Solve Et Coagula" (voted in the top 20 by Doom Charts in June) AND their "Haunt" debut for FREE until Monday.

SHIPPING UPDATES (AS OF 8/7)
We are still waiting for our copies of Graveripper "Seasons Dreaming Death" and Black Knife "Baby Eater Witch." I co-released Black Knife with the awesome Mercenary Press, who I inadvertently dragged into this nightmare.

We finally received a message updating us about these copies after a few weeks of requests. Based on that info, we hope to have copies in our possession by late August. These awesome albums deserved better than this, but at least we will have the vinyl copies soon.

Thanks again for your patience and kindness during this difficult time dealing with delays. We are almost out of the storm, friends.

The fourth and final band on Faster Than the Devil 3 is GROZOV - a rowdy group of power thrashers out of Philadelphia.

I heard their "Bedeviled" debut and was immediately hooked. Classic thrash with sky-punching choruses, a gritty blackened edge, and the grandeur of melodic power metal. Perfect for headbangers who are hellbent for denim.

Highly recommended for fans of Gama Bomb, Liege Lord, and Metal Church. Check out their debut and welcome the necromancers in Grozov.

We are adding a feverish dose of Cincinnati sin to Faster Than the Devil 3 with three vicious tracks from Acid Mass!

This sinister solo project has bashed out a prolific string of releases the past 2 years. Their debut collab with Morbid & Miserable Records was a raw blast of first wave black/thrash blasphemy. I can't wait to hear the new album "Worship," out August 2nd.

Highly recommended for fans of early Bathory, Nifelheim, S***m, and Craven Idol. Check out their recent releases and get a taste of violence from Acid Mass!

Please welcome Maryland thrashers Ninth Realm to Faster Than the Devil 3! Their riffy, frenzied songs are packed with warriors and barbarians. They're the perfect headbangable soundtrack for Conan's blood-soaked adventures.

I first heard Ninth Realm in 2022 when their "A Fate Unbroken" record slashed its way into my top 20 albums of the year. For further destruction, blast the wicked split they released with Inhuman Nature last year as well.

Highly recommended for fans of High on Fire, Power Trip, and High Command. Check out their past music and get ready for battle with Ninth Realm.

The first band we asked to join Faster Than the Devil 3 was Bloodletter (Chicago melodic thrash). They have 3 new, unreleased tracks for this split, and it's the most savage they've ever sounded.

They are great dudes, and returning Blood Siblings. We collaborated on "A Different Kind of Hell" last year, and on their "Malignancy" tape back in 2022. We love having these Windy Cty wild boys back to kick off this fast and filthy split.

Highly recommended for fans of Kreator, Death Angel, Exmortus, and Black Dahlia Murder. Check out their past music and get ready to get exsanguinated by Bloodletter. Faster Than the Devil 3 will be out in late October.

Wailin Storms is one of my favorite bands in the world. For the first time in the USA, we finally have copies of their 2017 masterpiece "Sick City" available on vinyl. Grab yourself a copy of this southern gothic doom punk opus on a stunning B&W two-tone smash. Every single copy is one of a kind and different.

We announced our collab last year, but it got caught in the jaws of the pressing plant delays. Thanks to those who pre-ordered and stuck with this through the long wait! And thank you to Wailin Storms for patiently working with me despite the less than ideal conditions. Releasing music with a band of this caliber is massively meaningful for me.

Congrats to Vexing Hex for their new album debuting in the top 20 of the June DOOM CHARTS! I love seeing them on a list with doom titans like Fu Manchu and Crypt Sermon and Sumac.

I'm going to dig into the rest of this month's list and post some favorites. But this a good reminder to share Vexing Hex with fellow fans of doom, hard rock, heavy psych, grunge, sludge, stoner riffs, proto metal, occult rock, and all those adjacent far-out subgenres. We think you will enjoy yourself in Vexing Hex's haunted technicolor dimension.
