OPENING TODAY: THE WAVE
A 5-day long festival dedicated to the most prolific female filmmakers working in Italy today, including Alice Rohrwacher, Laura Bispuri, and Chiara Bellosi.
The screenings of much celebrated THE BASILISKS (1963) directed by Lina Wertmüller and A SANTANOTTE (1922) directed by Elvira Notari also join the line up, alongside an honour to unforgettable performances of Monica Vitti.
Supported by Cinecittà, THE WAVE at Ciné Lumière, Kensington runs until 19th June.
