In the United States, a woman is diagnosed with HIV every 35 minutes. Of these women, 63% (2 out of every 3) will be Black. In Shelby County, the percentage of Black women diagnosed increases to 93% (13 out of 14). It is our goal to encourage more Black women and women of color to know their status, the status of their partners and ALWAYS engage in healthy s*x practices.
