This cutiepie has got a prosthetic leg to keep her moving. Elly was found injured in Kelantan from the trap laid by illegal hunters. This is one of the unfortunate stories you will hear during your visit to the National Elephant Conservation Centre (NECC) in Kuala Gandah.

All the elephants being cared at the sanctuary were all saved from illegal poaching and hunting throughout Malaysian forests in Terengganu, Kelantan, Pahang and Perak. The centre do not charge entrance fee but welcomes any amount of donation. Personally I believe that the centre should charge a fixed price to sustain.

In my opinion, sanctuaries should be the way for humans to visit and learn about animals and Zoo should be banned and completely removed across the world. This is one of the ways to reduce exploitation by humans towards another being. If you have time, do pay a visit to Kuala Gandah,National Elephant Conservation Centre and say “HI” to these creatures. You’ll be given a chance to feed the elephants too.

They are open every day from 10.30am-3.30pm with two elephant shows at 11am and 2pm. The centre has a huge well maintained park which is a great way to spend time doing picnics with your loved ones. We missed the chance to bathe the as it was during monsoon season (water level was high); I will definitely pay a visit again.

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to test drive . Enjoyed the smooth handling (I only drove with single hand and recorded video is smooth, as if I used a stabiliser) and of course it’s power. Not really impressed with its interior and the door handle is not attractive at all. They achieved a sexy look of its body though. Seeing the future of how automobiles are made really do blows my mind. With its standard specs selling at RM148k and extended specs at RM168k - you would wanna think through before making the purchase, consider weak finances on the horizons. Up to 480 kms range for the extended specs with additional ambience and sound feature may not be the best selling point for this car. However, for those who are looking to covert to or , you’d wanna consider this car. Understand the life of using an EV before jumping onto the bandwagon. Next year, look forward to see more models from BYD. Look for more updates on Sime Darby Motors.

Been awhile, I know. This time I’d like to share with you how sounded. If you’ve missed this year’s festival, here’s a snippet of the concert.

This is my first time experiencing Rainforest World Music Festival. I must say that the organisers have done a tremendous work to pull this off! Will surely look forward to go again in coming years.

Did anyone of you went to 25th RWMF? If yes, please share your experience and tell me what did you enjoy the most!

This is a long one. Braced myself to share the struggle only because to normalise talking about it. It isn’t always sunshine and rainbows in your sky and that is completely alright. I hope this opens up the opportunity for you to talk about it too. Share your thoughts if you care.

Thank you for the comments, shares and for all of your feedback. Appreciate each and everyone of you for that.

This video, is a sensitive one and I tried to highlight some solutions and I hope all of us can come together to fight discrimination. Thank you for the ideas and I’ll keep it more direct and will not hide the ugly truth in the next video of the same topic. 😉

I hope we all will find ways to continue be a human.

In Malaysia 🇲🇾, we don’t address this matter instead we sweep it under the rug. Because of this - hatred builds up, negative perception sets in and worst of all it affects our interactions with each other.

Despite being multiracial-multicultural nation, it’s sad to know that we don’t embrace the beauty of what makes up this country. We should take the initiative to learn about each other and don’t view things from your individual perspective and belief. No religion taught us to exploit, instil hate in younger ones or discriminate.

Let us know your thoughts on this and keep the conversation going. 🙆🏻‍♀️

The problem with our society is that, the ones who only view world from a single perspective is given the platform to say things that will eventually break the society into pieces. Scars like these would deeply affect all of us.

You see, you don’t live alone on this Earth.

You see, you don’t live alone on this Earth.

We face this on a daily basis and sadly we do this without realising it.
