Taking a moment to reflect on the incredible conversations we had this year, we'd love to thank our guests who so generously shared their experience and stories. Including our last guest of the year and of Season 6, pictured here, Dr. Imogen Hines.

Imogen spoke with Kara about how her informed choice became a matter for public opinion, and even vitriol despite it being the right choice for her. She also gave amazing insight into the ongoing gender inequity in surgical training and the structural barriers she has encountered.

You can catch this, and all previous episodes, at www.pregnancyuncut.com, on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts. Keep your eyes peeled for a little bonus ep in January!

For our final episode of Season 6. Kara talks to Dr. Imogen Hines. Imogen speaks about her experience of gender inequity in surgical training and the unnecessary structural barriers that mean that many women are unable to fulfil their potential in their chosen field.

This is something that she is vocal about on her social media and as an orthopedic doctor with a public profile, when Imogen discovered she was pregnant, she put her research skills into action to determine the best mode of birth for her. However, when she announced her decision to opt for a planned induction she was surprised by the vitriol she received.

Imogen speaks openly about her decision, the public reaction and the media and studies that underlie those things.
