A Night in Galveston Before Our Cruise!

After a 3 AM wake-up call to catch our flight, we finally made it to Galveston and wasted no time exploring! We took a walk along the boardwalk to the pier—while the amusement park wasn’t open, it was still fun to see the rides and take in the ocean views.

Next, we headed to The Strand, where the city was buzzing with Mardi Gras preparations. We got to soak up the local vibes, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and just relax after a long travel day. To top it all off, we ended the night with a great dinner with cruise friends—the perfect way to kick off our trip!
