I had a conversation with my bestie... and he said something that really stood out to me.... "Remember that while you point the finger, three more are pointing back at you." at first I took offense.... because I was talking about being cheated on and being treated badly in relationships. It really sat in me and I realized, I was allowing it to happen. I didn't leave, I never chose me. I didn't respect myself.

Thank you, bestie. I appreciate you and how much you are helping me to grow into my true authentic self. Now, it's time to take this growth and keep going with it! I have a few things planned for myself which I won't really talk about... but when I achieve them.. you all will definitely know!

But soon my intuition sensed something that I had feared

Soon the skies went gray
The sun went black
and her little ears heard something within us start to crack

She grabbed at her belly
The butterflies dying
She looked to me for comfort but only found me crying

She looked for him
but where had he gone?
he was at the park with another woman dancing on the lawn.

She tried to shout at him
She waved her arms around
But he was too busy with the newness he had found

She took off in a run
She didn't want to give up
But I snatched her by the hand... because I knew we broke up.

She fought and kicked
She didn't want to leave
She doesn't understand your words were just to deceive

He doesn't love us anymore!
You're too much of a brat!
I felt her stop moving at the hate I had spat

I couldn't look at her
But I knew she understood fully
That now I had become... the biggest school bully.
