Ryan Riley is the founder of Life Kitchen, which immediately gained support from the public, press and celebrities nationally, and he has gone on to run his signature cookery classes for people living with cancer - including collaborations at River Cottage and the Jamie Oliver Cookery School.

He is also an established food writer and stylist who has worked for print publications such as Sainsbury's Magazine, Waitrose Food and BBC Good Food. In 2019, Ryan opened the Life Kitchen Cookery School in his home town of Sunderland. Life Kitchen is his first cookbook and it’s a gem!

How can I describe the very talented Ralph McLean? Well he is a TV presenter, Radio DJ, respected arts commentator, producer, scriptwriter and newspaper columnist….. Ralph has done it all in his impressive career.

In this podcast we discuss his road trip through America, which I am very jealous of, as it just sounded like the trip of trips. He tells me about the time he interviewed Harrison Ford and all he could think was "That's Han Solo". He also describes going to interview Dolly Parton at her home, in her own little church with the stained glass windows. He paints the picture.

John McCormick is the founder and Owner of Helen's Bay Organic farm, which has been in operation for over 30 years. There is a collection service via a farm shop, home vegetable delivery service and they also have a stand at St. Georges Market.

I have volunteered at the farm and I have learnt so much from John about growing vegetables and what is involved in growing your own veg. I am so glad somewhere like this exists and it is so close to me which is even better.

He has been the CEO for The Oh Yeah Music Centre in Belfast, helping musicians move their way up and get the recognition they deserve. He was a Broadcast Presenter on the radio for many years across various stations on the BBC. He is well known as the front man in the band 'The Answer'. They have supported and shared the stage with Whitesnake (a-mas-ing!) and ACDC but to name a few. They are high energy and addictive to listen to.
