A Milestone in Our Commitment to the Ukrainian Cause 🇺🇦

We're thrilled to share one of our most monumental and personally significant updates for "Death From Above"! 💪

We've meticulously translated the game into Crimean Tatar, ensuring every detail, from menu options to subtitles, was handled by local experts, like Mamure Chabanova. This makes Death From Above one of, if not the first, video games to serve this community! 📢

This is the culmination of our two-fold awareness effort to:

First,to highlight countries and communities affected by Russian imperialism
Second, translate the game into languages not commonly served by the gaming industry.

"The people of the Crimea region, for which Tatar is a state language, have been some of the most heavily impacted by the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukrainian territory,” said Lesser Evil CEO Hendrik Lesser. “Erasure of language and culture is one of the earliest hallmarks of imperialism and violent occupation, so this opportunity to make Death From Above available to play in the native language of the Crimean Tatars was one which we relished. We will not stand idly by and allow Putin’s aggression to go unopposed"

Hello operators!
Patch 0.6 "For our freedom and yours" just went live 🥳
With this update we added two new languages to the game (Polish & Belarusian) and updated some of the missions

We also added skins for the operator and the drone to put two special units into the spotlight who took up arms to defend the sovereignty, freedom of another country:

Today, we’re talking about ГІС "Арта", a Ukrainian military software developer that creates battlefield management systems to, among other things, help the Ukrainian army control and deploy drones.

As an organisation that has been heavily involved in supporting the Ukrainian soldiers on the frontline since the beginning of the invasion, GIS Arta is deeply familiar with the most common issues and scenarios that drone operators face and is acutely aware of their needs. By bringing them on board the project, the Death From Above team gained a reliable partner with which to bounce gameplay scenarios as we created the game and keep growing the game in the future💪

They are a remarkable NGO focused on enhancing Ukraine's security. Aerorozvidka specializes in aerial reconnaissance, drone warfare, and cybersecurity, designing cutting-edge drones and providing expert training. Aerorozvidka's involvement in developing data processing centers further supports Ukraine's security efforts. This partnership is a prime example of citizen engagement against foreign aggression. With their upcoming anniversary on July 15 they are already doing their amazing work for 9 years!

In our collaboration, Aerorozvidka brought their invaluable drone expertise to our project, helping us understand and improve Death From Above. Their experience elevated our capabilities and fueld our mission. We're thrilled to have their support for our game to help us support . Next week Aerorozvidka will turn 9 years old, so be sure to check out for this great milestone!

Time to highlight the incredible work of another one of our amazing charity partners: Come Back Alive 🇺🇦 Повернись живим

Since 2014, their mission has been to enhance Defense Forces' efficiency, save lives, and counter the enemy. They have multiplied their support during the full-scale invasion, aiding the defenders of Ukraine who courageously joined the line of defense.

Their impactful contributions include acquiring life-saving equipment such as thermal imaging optics, quadcopters, cars, security, and intelligence systems. Since 2014, they have raised over UAH 6.6 billion, trained 10,000+ military specialists, and made significant equipment purchases, including thermal imagers, quadcopters, and unmanned aircraft systems. 💪

With transparent financial statements, every donation and purchase can be tracked in real-time. We are proud to have been contributing to Come Back Alive, donating directly to their "Safe Home" Demining Program, and we look forward to keep on doing so in the future with your help! 🤝
