Lavanya is a commerce student from Sai International School, Bhubaneswar. She first started debating in 2012, and has taken part in several debates ever since. She has taken several international courses on the English language, including the Cambridge Advanced English Language Course. She had also earned herself a place in the prestigious ‘Cognitive Exchange Program’ by Folsom, California. She is also an ardent MUNer and has been attending MUNs since 2016 in the capacity of both delegate and secretariat member.
She considers debates and MUNs a place where the art of networking, leadership and diplomacy comes together in one place. Debates and MUNs further inculcate the three essential liberal arts; grammar, logic and rhetoric in oneself.
Apart from debating and MUNing, Lavanya is a also a trained singer and has an exquisite interest in music. She loves reading books and you can talk to her about anything ranging from Indian Mythology to cute puppy videos.
She thus, invites you to attend the Equity International E Debate Conclave to debate and present your ideas and opinions, while at the same time, improving your ability to conceive, articulate and evaluate.
