PDP Primaries : My First 100 Days in Office Will Speak for me, Says Okpolupm Etteh
. As former Special Duties Commissioner emerges Victorious in National Assembly Primaries
Former Commissioner for Special Duties, Rt Hon Okpolupm Etteh has assured of superlative performance in his first 100 days in office when elected Member of Parliament for Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency come 2023 general elections.
The former Esit Eket/Ibeno State House of Assembly member made this known, Sunday, shortly after emerging victorious at PDP primaries at SPU base, Awa Iman in ONNA LGA of Akwa Ibom State.
Speaking with a team of journalists after defeating his closest rival, Rt Hon. David Lawrence in a keenly competitive exercise by 103 to 27 votes, the Upenekang born public relations expert thanked the delegates for trusting him with their votes, assuring that he will not disappoint when he finally emerges victorious in the general election.
"My first hundred days in office will speak for me as my records at the State House of Assembly is still visible for all to go see", he said.
Describing the process that led to his emergence, he added in his words that it was a wonderful and very transparent process as even observers could attest to it.
On how he feels about his overwhelming victory, he said :
" i feel very excited and this shows that the people of the Federal Constituency wants me to represent and speak for them at the Green chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja."
