Prayer for a New Beginning for Zambia.

In the beginning You beamed light that shines in the darkest hour, Light that no darkness could overcome:

Pierce the soul of this Nation with Your light, And enlighten everyone with Your divine wisdom.

Pierce the soul of this Nation with Your light,
And blind the demons of wickedness and hate.

Pierce the soul of this Nation with Your light,
That our beings draw in hope,

And our hands grasp with strength,

And our hearts pump the lifeblood,

Of an unlikely, luminous new beginning being born.

As the founder of our Republic bids farewell, may his divine departure birth, a blessed renaissance of hope, peace, unity and love in our Nation. In Jesus's Name I pray, Amen.

Have a blessed Sunday.

Hakainde Hichilema.

Countrymen and women,

As the nation comes together in mourning, remembrance and celebration of the life of our dearly departed founding father of our nation, Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda, it is agreed and therefore directed, that the UPND and all our alliance partners, suspend all active mobilization activities until further notice.

It is also agreed and therefore directed, that all our people out on the campaign trail across the country, immediately call off all campaigns and return to their original bases as the nation comes together in unity and pay our respects to our nation's founding father.

We urge all to remain peaceful and united as we continue to reflect on the life of Dr. Kaunda, the immense sense of duty, service and sacrifice with which he led and served our country and our people.

I thank you.

Hakainde Hichilema

Looking at the bundles of cash money and material donations being dished out by PF leaders and cadres, we have no doubt this is stolen from government coffers. We demand that government immediately introduces meal allowances for students in universities and colleges.

HAPPENING NOW...

JEZEBEL AND STATE HOUSE LAUNCHES A MANHUNT OF THE HATEMBO FAMILY OVER HH'S KALOMO.

By Koswe Editors

Highly placed State House sources have said that outgoing Dictator Edgar Lungu has dispatched his own uniformed paramilitary special guard to hunt for the Hatembo siblings in Livingstone.

Lungu has given express instructions that they should be forcibly brought to State House as his personal 'guests' with a view to coerce them into appealing the HH case they lost in court.

Lungu is reportedly so obsessed to have HH out of the ballot papers that he is willing to do anything including paying the Hatembos huge amounts of cash to let their lawyer take the matter before a compromised appeals judge so that HH is found wanting.

The Hatembos are in hiding.

The Police have been to Mukuni cultural and Mukuni Big 5 in Livingstone where Lungu thinks they are hiding.

As usual Koswe doesn't do fake news. Ask the Livingstone residents if they haven't seen combat ready heavily armed state house police driving around Livingstone.

Koswe advises corrupt dictator Edgar Lungu and JEZEBEL to stop tormenting the Hatembos as they don't want to be used against an innocent citizen.

The hunting down of the Hatembo family is part of JEZEBEL Edith Nawakwi's scheming.

After the flopping of the evil PF Bill 10, Lungu and his JEZEBEL were banking on this land issue so that Hakainde Hichilema could be jailed for forgery and eventually miss elections this year.

JONAS SHAKAFUSWA WRITES....

Edith Nawakwi is within her rights to critic Hakainde Hichilema. It is amusing she is not talking about the Carlington Maize deal where she paid Millions of Dollars for Maize which never came to the starving Zambians. Has the Government forgotten? Or as usual gotten a cut from her to look the other way? Hakainde has been hard working in his life time. I remember I used to pick his Niece from Kalundu for my Cousin, where I would find Hakainde on a table reading all the time. If you look at his life, everyone should emulate him. From rugs to riches through hard work and saving. I personally don’t like the way he has led UPND, a Party which I helped found. But apart from that I can’t take away the achievements of this hard working person. I remember Nawakwi coming to Kafue house, where I was working as an Auditor with Deloitte Haskins and Sell, in ‘tropicals’ to Curry Ltd, which housed MMD as a movement. Today she is rich of having served as a Minister. Hakainde is rich from saving and investment and a career of successful achievement at school and professional career. Making his money away from Government coffers where today Leader are busy stealing from. Leaders and Party cadres have become stinking rich for a short time they have been in Government. Are they serving the people or lining their pockets? This is what we want to hear from President Nawakwi and her fellow presidents from the Northern and Eastern regions, Let us give respect to hardworking people in our lives to give hope to our struggling people and especially young ones, that hard work pays. Today we are giving hope to thugs that thuggery pays when you bring your criminality from the street and fight and insult people. Let us lead this Country to civility and honor

BODY BURIED IN FRONT OF SUSPECTED WIZARD'S HOUSE

Four people of the same family in Isoka have been arrested in connection with the burial that took place on Saturday in front of their brother's house after accusing him of killing their sister using witchcraft.

Police said this occured on Saturday after the death of Micah Nalwimba in Malale village two days earlier.

Ms Nalwimba reportedly collapsed in her field on January 26, 2021, and was admitted to the district hospital for treatment.

The four suspects have been named as Febby Nalwimba,53, Dorothy Nalwimba, 46, Idah Nalwimba, 67, and Black Mutambo aged 67.

They will appear in court soon and a hunt for other unknown suspects has been launched, Muchinga Province Police Commissioner Lizzy Machina has told Chete FM news.

The incident happened just days after the newly appointed police commissioner met with traditional leaders in the district to discuss various issues such as accusing people of practicing witchcraft.

"As Police, we shall not sit idle and watch innocent elderly citizens be labeled as wizards which will later culminate to murder. I must commend traditional authorities for their noble action to have the matter urgently brought to the attention of the police," Ms Machina is quoted as saying.
