It's the start of the weekend and we bring good news 😃

Starting today, May 27th, Android users can now begin preloading your favourite game from the Google Play Store. Although the game can be played starting from May 29th, it is now ready for preloading. If you are unable to pre-load immediately, relax. Over the weekend you'll eventually get the option. As for iOS users, you can download and start playing the game on May 29th, 2023.

Few users may have received an automatic update from midnight, this is a part of the same preload process, and you have nothing to worry about. If you are an Android user, you will be able to preload today and play on May 29th, if you are an iOS user, you can enjoy and play the game from May 29th.

It has been more than three months since Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) was blocked by the Indian Government under Section 69A of the IT Act on 28th July.

During the game's continued absence a lot of speculations and rumors have surfaced within the Indian gaming community. Limited transparency and communication about the situation by KRAFTON has further added to this problem.

To instil confidence that it is still working on getting BGMI unbanned, the publisher in its Q3 2022 report has publicly stated that, "KRAFTON is continuing its efforts to resume services for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) and will continue investing in the Indian games market.

Kuldeep Lather, the Founder of Villager Esports, said that Krafton can easily bring BGMI back, but in a totally new app without data transfer.

The tweet reads, “Krafton can easily bring back BGMI but in a totally new App with no data transfer.
All data in India and everyone loses their old IDs and starts with new level 1 accounts.”

Krafton is unclear on the current state of the game. Although it's been over 50 days, Krafton has not announced anything.

It's not yet clear whether the game will get unbanned, Krafton will develop a new app or the data will be migrated to new servers. There have been a lot of rumours since the game's removal from the stores, but Krafton has not confirmed any of the rumours.

Without any information, we cannot say for sure what will happen with the game, and we can only wait for the official announcement.
