Due to equipment failure and weather in the area, after being on the road for two and a half weeks, I made the decision to head home.

Slo Motion Lincoln and Port Royal

I know there is a lot of stuff going on, but lets thing of the positive things. ITS RACE DAY IN PENNSYLVANIA!! Our first Saturday of racing with both Lincoln Speedway and Port Royal Speedway running 410 Sprint Cars. Also we have the season opener for Williams Grove Speedway on Sunday!

Got to cover the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at All-Tech Raceway! Was super fun and I turned into a bit of a photographer at points of the night. I got a lot of great footage from this amazing racetrack. Video montage to come soon from tonights event. Race was very solid with Jonathan Davenport Motorsports taking the dub over Mike Marlar Racing and Brandon Sheppard Racing. Also got to hang out with my good buddy John at DirtDobber Video who also got some great footage so go check his page out.

It's a beautiful day in Lake City, Florida as I'm down here for the 602 Crate portion on the Winter Nationals at North Florida Speedway! Track is in excellent shape for the amount of rain they have gotten in the last couple of days. Would highly recommend checking this track out but if you can't Speed Shift TV has you covered with the race!

Because Pennsylvania Racing Season isn't starting early enough I will make may down south to the Winter Nationals at North Florida Speedway. I'm very excited it will be my second trip down there and will do my best to get some exclusive content on the page to start the year 💪💪💪.

January 30- February 2, the DIRTcar UMP Late Models and Open Wheel Modifieds take center stage along with a $5,000 to win Feature for the Pure Stocks! Hobby Stocks will be racing for $1,500 to win with Box Stocks in support.

February 6-9, it's the Grit Racing Series 602 Sportman "Center Seat" Mods and Florida Late Models taking the spotlight with C-Class Lates and Box Stocks in support.

Kyle Larson wins the Chili Bowl

How about that Chili Bowl!?!? Kyle Larson Racing has claimed his first ever Chili Bowl by passing Christopher Bell on lap 39!

We throw it back to Pennsylvania Speedweek last year when both Larson and Bell competed in a couple of races.

Pennsylvania Speedweek is back this year with 9 exciting races with the opener on June 26th at the Williams Grove Speedway with the conclusion at the Port Royal Speedway on the 4th of July! These races are must see events!

Port Royal Speedway

2020 SCHEDULE RELEASED

The 2020 schedule at Port Royal Speedway has been released. A total of 34 race dates are on the schedule with 12 different divisions taking part. The Weikert Livestock 410 sprint cars will be featured a total of 29 times beginning with the opener on Sunday, March 8th and concluding with the 2-day NOS Energy Drink World Of Outlaw Sprint Car Series on October 9th and 10th. The final three races of the season; the Tuscarora 50 and the World Of Outlaw events will be non-point races.

The marquee event, the Tuscarora 50, will take place on Saturday, September 12th and will again be sanctioned by the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions. The All Star series will sanction the Keith Kauffman Classic on April 18th and pay $7,700 to win, the 2-day Weikert Memorial over the Memorial Day Holiday each paying $10,000 to win, and the Night Before the 50 on September 11th. The un-sanctioned $10,000 to win Living Legends Dream Race will take place on Saturday, August 1st. Port Royal Speedway will again host 2 events as part of Pennsylvania Speedweek on Wednesday, July 1st, and conclude the week on Saturday, July 4th with the running of the Greg Hodnett Classic. Both events will pay $7,000 to win.

The Super Late Models have 20 events scheduled for 2020. The biggest late model purse in the history of the speedway will be paid on Saturday, August 29th when the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series invades with a $50,000 to win main event. The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series will also present the “Rumble By The River” on Sunday, April 19th and the traveling group will have a preliminary event on Friday, August 28th.

The Super Late Models will again be part of the Weikert Memorial on both Saturday and Sunday over the Memorial Day Holiday paying $5,000 to win each event. The Pennsylvania Late Model Challenge Series, formerly the Tri-Track Challenge, will visit the speedway for a time trial event on Saturday, June 6th. Other high-paying late model races will take place on March 21st, March 22nd, and September 5th when the ULMS Late Model Series sanctions the events.

Returning for their 2nd full season is the 358 Limited Late Model division. The Limited Late Models have 12 events scheduled in 2020 and will again be part of the Butch Renninger Memorial event on Saturday, September 5th and the Labor Day Classic on Monday, September 7th. The Limited Late Models will be showcased twice during the Keith Kauffman Classic and Lucas Oil Late Model weekend on April 18th and April 19th. The limited late models will run a pair of 18-lap feature events on Saturday, May 30th.

The PA Sprint Series (PASS) 305 sprint cars have 10 events scheduled in 2020. The 305 sprints will make their first appearance at the speedway on Saturday, April 4th and will close the season with the 9th Annual Keystone RaceSaver Challenge event on Saturday, October 17th. For the first time, the PASS/IMCA 305 sprints will be part of the World Of Outlaw Series event on Saturday, October 10th in an invitation only event with the top 24 drivers in the point standings participating.

A multitude of open wheel divisions will take on the Speed Palace as well. Returning after a year’s absence is the USAC East Coast 360 wingless sprint car series on Saturday, August 22nd during Open Wheel Madness IV. The Wingless Super Sportsman will be part of Open Wheel Madness III on Saturday, July 18th, and the 358 Sprint Car Summer Series returns on Saturday, June 20th as part of Open Wheel Madness II.

The United Racing Club 360 winged sprint cars have 3 events scheduled in 2020; they are Saturday, April 11th, Saturday, April 25th as part of Open Wheel Madness I, and on Wednesday, July 1st as a second division to the 410 sprint car PA Speedweek event. 358 sprint car teams are welcome to run all three events.

Also on the schedule for 2020 are the 4-cylinder stock cars (twice), the Short Track Super Series Modifieds on Sunday, March 22nd, and the return of the Mid Atlantic Modifieds on Saturday, April 11th

And finally, the USAC Wingless Sprint Cars return for the week-long Eastern Storm series with a 410 sprint car doubleheader on Saturday, June 13th.

Port Royal Speedway will be closed on May 16th, June 27th, July 25th, and August 15th.

Introducing the Official Launch of Smoke and Mirrors Productions.

My name is Tyler McKim and I am a Videographer located in the Central Pennsylvania area with a main focus on motorsports. I am a college student currently studying Television and Media Production.

My goal is to be able to help teams and promoters market themselves or events with the use of various forms of media along with creating a brand.

Once the racing season begins I plan on posting weekly videos pertaining to the events I am spectating or helping to promote. I also plan on sharing as much information as possible to help grow and expand the racing community.

What makes my page different? My number 1 goal is to help drivers and promoters grow their brand with the help of Media.
