Everyone loves a good love story, especially one of rekindled love. 💞 This episode goes through their journey: being young in the same hometown, dating in the 1970s, branching off and wading through life’s ups and downs individually, marrying other people, and then reconnecting decades later. They share how they reconnected and then ended up marrying one another in 2008. They are my aunt/noná (godmother) and uncle. Georgia was featured on Season 1 with her brother, my dad, George.

Konstantine “Dean” Karnazes () is an ultramarathoner, speaker, best-selling author, and entrepreneur, as well the “Top 100 Most Influential People in the World” according to TIME magazine. He’s run 50 marathons, in all 50 US states, in 50 consecutive days and he’s run 350 continuous miles. 🏃🏽‍♂️

We discuss snippets from his book, “The Road to Sparta: Reliving the Ancient Battle and Epic Run That Inspired the World's Greatest Footrace” and talk about reconnecting to our Greek background. Konstantine also shares differences between marathons and ultramarathons. 🏅
