In the previous post, we learned the importance of branding.⚡️
A Mood board helps guide the process of defining coherent branding. Slide left to see the step-by-step process I use to create a mood board.👈🏽
✨Step 1: Get inspired - This is the process of surfing through Pinterest and other sites with visuals to find images that speak to you. For this stage, besides Canva, I love using Pexels.com & Unsplash.com, where you can find free stock photos.
✨Step 2: Start with a blank canvas - I love using Canva, and begin with a blank canvas where I arrange images in a way I find aesthetically pleasing. You can also use mood board templates on Canva if the templates work for you.
✨Step 3: Curate your board - Keep moving around images until the mood board looks like a well-rounded representation of your brand's personality. You can add different elements and graphics to amplify creativity.
Think of your mood board as an artwork that tells the story of your brand. 🖼
In the next post, you will see examples of mood boards with varying designs and imagery that tell different stories about the personalities of various brands.🤍
