touched down from London Townnnnnnn
I was super duper stoked to hang and show this talented soul around the city but as someone so used to Toronto, it was definitely a different perspective to stop and think about how I would show someone not from here, the REAL Toronto experience, in a couple hours, post covid 🥲 So we walked. And walked. Walking somewhat aimlessly is my fav way to see the city. I can’t wait to share more of our captures. thank you so much for trusting me! And being down to walk and explore. ❤️❤️❤️
From a process POV, I also did a walk through personally of spots I wanted to hit, location scouting with my phone since I had extra time. If you’re interested in a bit of the process, the Last pic on the 🎠will show you a scout reference :) the sun had set by the time we actually snapped the pics unfortunately.

When I was composing this shot, the colours felt too subdued and I just wanted a subtle pop to bring it all together. Cue this lonely red delicious apple that we were able to give a final moment to shine before I threw it in the compost (because it was definitely past it’s prime on the other side 🙃)

Raji wanted to reflect her Sikh heritage in the creative as well as to mimic old Mughal style Indian portraits which are by nature flat yet decadent with vibrantly patterned fabrics and jewelry.
