A Tornado Watch has been issued for all counties in the yellow shading in MD until 11PM.

Remember a watch means conditions are favorable, not that tornadoes are actively happening!

If you are under a warning, get to the most interior room on the lowest level of a building. Cars, trucks, campers, and mobile homes are not substantial shelters.

As we go into Memorial Day, we are keeping an eye out for severe weather across Maryland. As of this post (11 AM, Sunday), the highest of all threats will be strong winds. Following the winds, we see the threat for hail, flooding, and tornadoes. Though tornadoes are listed as "low" on the graphic, the chance is not 0%. Please stay weather aware for your Monday, have multiple ways to stay alert, and have a safe and happy Memorial Day.
