Okay gang. Exciting news! Lots of developments in the last two weeks, which is why you haven't seen any updates.

First, the Discord server is live! Feel free to jump in and join us there. This is where A LOT of things will happen, such as giveaways -- more on that in a bit, so keep reading!

Second, the website is live! If you want to learn more about this project, what NFTs are, and how to get the comics, go ahead and visit: https://bretblackberg.com/

Third, after careful consideration we will be using the WAX blockchain. I chose this because it is a carbon neutral blockchain unlike the Ethereum network (where most of the popular NFT projects reside). It is also a very friendly community that focuses on "nerdier" projects such as Garbage Pail Kids, Godzilla, Robotech, and many others.

Fourth, the first NFT is live. It is NOT a comic, but rather a utility component of the collection. The 2021 Gold BretCoin is available right now on AtomicHub (which is where MOST of the NFTs will be minted). LASTLY, you can get the 2021 Gold BretCoin for free. This NFT will be used to unlock future features of the comics. I'm currently giving away 50 of these, of which only 100 will be minted/created (if needed, another 51 will be minted/created as Silver BretCoins with the same functionality). Jump on over to the Discord server and leave your WAX Wallet ID (you'll need one of those first -- I have information and a video of how to do that on the bretblackberg.com website).

WIP of page 12 after it was inked. Putting the finishing touches on all interior pages for issue one. Only a matter of time before this baby is unleashed onto the world…again!

Some work in progress for you all I’m nearly done with the book as I’m approaching the finish line. Page 12, which is already finished, takes place in the library where our main protagonists (Bret and Hit Hat) are finally encountered by the main antagonist (Bret). And yes, that is not a typo and is a slight spoiler for those that hadn’t read the 24 comic editions).

Three more pages to finish (plus the cover) and then you’ll finally be able to buy/read the comics online! More info to come on how to get the comics.

Quick preview of the first page of the new book. For those familiar with the 24 Hour Comics version released in 2008 (yeah, 13 years ago!!), there is no real noticeable changes other than it being in color and that the intro title missing.
