Hi there everyone!

Over the past weekend, co-host Nolan Meschke was moving when all of a sudden, one of his movers pulled off a wig and in a Flemish-turned-New Jersey accent yelled "YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD PUNK ME LIKE THAT?!?"

It turns out that Peter Midnight in the flesh had faked his death in the Caribbean, heard us talking s**t in our most recent episode and decided to take matters into his own hands. He sprayed an odd colored mist in the area and sprinted away.

In the end, Nolan ended up with what we think is the Flu. Luckily Paul and Captain Abe Cocke were able to stay safe.

What this means is no episode this week. Sorry yall! Next week will be extra crazy!

Hey everybody! We hope you are all enjoying Episode 9 on Anne of Cleaves and the crazy crazy guy named Fugger! Here are the paintings by Hans Holbein Nolan and Paul were looking at during the episode and aweing at! Henry looks so badass despite being a tubby, frail, sickly, injured P.O.S in real life. Ironic he was so adamant about Hans painting the sisters of Anne and Amelia as realistic as he could but had just told Hans to make him look as close to a fierce, appealing king. Funny.

Here is that amazing painting of the Treaty of Nice (1538) Nolan and I were obsessed about in our episode this week! Painted by Taddeo Zuccari and his brother Federico years after the dust had settled on the 3rd Habsburgs-French War (they were probably already on the 6th war at this point) it still is an important work of art. I mean just look at that frown over on Francis (on the left side of the handshake)! Charles is looking pretty suave too!

This week in our 8th episode, we look at the quick and tragic lives of a pair of queens and how their deaths came to greatly influence major events to come after.
