Hôy La
Ingri Høyland is Hôy La. A musical project that is best understood as the performance of a translation from the apparently internal experiences of anguish, anger, and vulnerability, into the sonics that reveal—even as each individual refracts them differently—how widely shared these feelings are. Like all translations, Hôy La fails in doing this directly. But, like all good translations, this apparent failure is the spark of invention from which artistry unfurls. Hôy La investigates the tensions of a world that individualizes psychic pain by setting them against the release of an icy calm that holds this darkness in stasis for a moment, allowing us to glimpse this suffering’s genealogy, before being overcome once more. Høyland refers to her own experiences with sleep paralysis, and the feeling of demonic capture that accompanies it, as both an eternity of panic-inducing entrapment but also as a moment when the passage from the internal to external world becomes more porous. It’s in these moments of porousness that through dissonance and resolution, through repetition and dramatic departure, and through electronic intimacy and organic alienation, Hôy La’s music intervenes to force a shared trauma into the light, and sensuous ecstatic movement into your body.

Sofie Birch & Myggen
Sofie Birch & Myggen are a Copenhagen based power couple, engaged in music from head to toes. Since Sofie has long been a heavy weight figure on the international ambient scene, Myggen decided to go in the complete opposite direction as he started DJ’ing jungle and breakcore vinyls about a year ago. Together, they will present to you a journey through the hazy soundscapes of synthesizers, field recordings and everything organic and dreamy.

22/2/22 marks the release date of a new compilation "And in that moment, everything was aligned" from Copenhagen-based label Year 22.

All proceeds made from the sale of the compilation will go towards The Red Van, a volunteer run NGO with a straightforward approach to harm reduction for street-based s*x workers.

Bulgarian born, Copenhagen based multidisciplinary artist and one part label executive together with , Vergilov is CPH-scene regular since 2011. She cut her old school techno and house teeth at places like Culture Box and often raving at Berghain/Panorama Bar, where she also had her music played by artists like Ben Klock etc. Not a surprise her productions caught the attention of her mentor DVS1, releasing soon a debut EP on his Mistress label, and dropping a solo on Ben Sim’s imprint in april, when both Ben and her will throw a release party at one of CPH’s finest clubs. Two times Boiler Room guest, a DJ/Producer and Singer with an infectious energy behind the decks, deep knowledge about any musical genre, classically trained pianist and former professional jazz/house dancer, G is delivering her energy specially to us on Saturday. We have no idea what to expect.

Daniel has been active in the club scene for a good while, primarily releasing on house
labels such as Underground Quality and Tartelet Records as well as on his own former imprint, the now-closed Copenhagen Underground Posse, a music label and party collective, that have been key contributors to the Copenhagen scene for the past 8 years.

With his new project, BSP // Bispebjerg, a record label that represents music from Copenhagen-based artists and affiliates alongside DJ and producer colleague J. Kamata, he has built a universe of Jungle, Electro, House, B***y Tech and their derivative genres.

‘ABSENCE’ by Lueurs Nocturnes [digital premiere]
short movie

A spoken voice evokes images, symbols related to "energy currents" created between body/mind/reality and the world of the invisible - which the absence is a part.
A "light" can be felt in the chest, the presence of the absent can be compared to it.
The divine dimension of the living world is symbolised here by the link between nature and sunlight. This journey leads to a recurring request: the will to unite thanks to light and its bearers. This hopeful and obsessional invocation seems to be provided by the lack and the desire for reunification. This quest is revealed in Sesto’s opera aria “Parto, parto” from la Clemenza di Tito by Mozart.
Craving for a last look, willing to accomplish a departure in peace, this character sings his despair to his beloved one.
In a surrealistic Cocteau poetry kind of touch, everything seems so clear and so confusing at the same time.
Like facing Absence.
Therefore history is not processed but is undone to become an experience of sensations. The Absence takes place in a sensitivity where there are no more boundaries, into the unknown.
Absence is a tribute to wandering souls looking for new territories, an Ode to the celebration of moments elapsed in harmony and chaos where centre and periphery are abolished. Like a prayer, this internal and human ritornello translates the desire for the union of "lights" between here and the world beyond.

Towsky is a Sicilian artist from Catania, based in Copenhagen. His style is influenced by the local scene - a mixed sound between techno and trance without losing his personal touch. Expect little melodies and romantic pads but also galloping drums, acidic and distorted bass lines.

Bio:
Fatäk - aka Leila Bélangeon - is a multi-faceted artist, artistic director and event manager.
DJ, producer, composer, singer, she explores different musical currents to travel through eclectic grooves and soundscapes. Her last releases on Janushoved introduced her more deeply to the Danish scene.
Coming from Paris, she has been artistic director and event manager at Blocaus, Big Brothers, Parkingstone, Champ Libre Club, Dement3d Label etc.

She opened an artistic door this summer in Copenhagen with her new concept Vibrant Matter in collaboration with Elena Biner - produced by her agency Subetē.

Also known as Lueurs Nocturnes with Lucie Curé, opera singer, she explores a contemporary terrain of her own, filled with emotional waves and shamanic rhythms that transport you into new soundscapes.
