Llegamos a Mérida!!!

Your friendly world traveling co-hosts made it to Mérida a few days ago and while we had a few hiccups on our travel day, like Sharmane taking everyone to the wrong airport and the kind people at the American Airlines desk helping get us sorted out, and cats vomiting from motion sickness, we did surprisingly well transporting 4 personas y 4 gatos us 12 maletas to Mexico. A Major decision made by the super sentimental Mane…

I’ve decided/promised to narrow down my extensive MUG COLLECTION to between 4-6 mugs ONLY for the move. 😭

This is a big deal for me to come to this decision ON MY OWN. I’m extremely sentimental about my possessions. It’s baggage from childhood growing up on welfare and having to leave behind toys when we couldn’t afford to stay somewhere. But as I embark on this next chapter being a Global Mane, I need to reduce my stuff and whittle down to the bare necessities. For me that is a minimum of 4 to 6 mugs.

We’re moving to Merida!

Well, Sharmane (I am) is BUT Sharmane, Shae, our partners, and our cats are ALL going to Merida together in March to get Sharmane & Tree settled.

And now begins the 100 day countdown!

I have challenged myself (AND so has Shae) to post one thing related to the upcoming move, travel, or moving abroad in general every day, for 100 days until we move. I’ll cut myself some slack today and just post that there are 100 days til we move to Merida! We’re vaxed, waxed, and packed…let’s go!
