… To face charges for hacking United States data

Internet celebrity Ramoni (Raymond) Igbalode popularly known as “Hushpuppi” has been under fire for allegedly hacking the database of unemployed benefits fund in the United States (US).

Confirmed reports have it that Hushpuppi is being extradited from Dubai, United Arabs Emirates for trial in Nigeria

The International Police (INTERPOL)’s Commissioner , Garba Umar confirmed the arrest of the internet fraudster recently during an interview, noting that some of the crimes were committed in Nigeria with collaborators in the country who are currently facing trials.

Hushpuppi, in collaboration with his colleagues home and abroad, allegedly defrauded the US of over $100 million dedicated for Native Americans in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Lamine Diack, the former President of the IAAF, arrives at the court in Paris for his corruption trial. The long-awaited corruption trial of the former IAAF president Lamine Diack has been delayed until June after new documents were presented at the last minute by his son and co-defendant, Papa Massata Diack.

The Diacks, along with four other former senior figures in athletics, are accused of being part of a scheme that involved extorting 23 Russian athletes for between €100,000 and €600,000 in exchange for delaying doping sanctions so they could compete at the London 2012 Olympics.
