OGOJA LGC CHAIRMAN DECRIES THE POOR STATE OF RURAL ROADS

The Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Agbeh has expressed concern over the deplorable state of Rural Road in the area stating that as a farming community, there was every need to cushion the effect of bad feeder roads to enable farmers move their produce freely.

The Chairman made this known when he inspected a collapsed bridge along Nkem Mbube in Ogoja Local Government are and Utugwang in Obudu Local Government area . Hon. Agbeh described the road as a thorough fare that facilitates economic activities as well as easy movement people and goods. He assured the people of his administration's readiness to promptly intervene to reconnect the two local government areas.

Speaking earlier at the scene of the incident, Chief James Ugaga extroled the sensitivity of the Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Council Hon Christopher Agbeh to the plight of the people by his prompt response to their distress call as the people in the area are seriously suffering aising from the collapse of the only bridge that ease the movement of goods and services in the area. The Truth About Malta & Why Dangote Must Be
A Long Read, Worth Reading:

When I saw the Malta 🇲🇹 NNPC comment by Dangote, I suspected there was more to it. Our group decided to investigate further.

Our discovery was deeply shocking.

Firstly I will breakdown the whole Oil theft process and how Oil exporting and importing business works here in Nigeria.

NNPC grants importation licenses to a select group of oil companies, which are responsible for importing petroleum products into the country. These companies set the prices for petroleum products, and the media often refer to them as "oil marketers."

We’ve another set responsible for exporting/selling unrefined petroleum products both locally nd internationally. NNPC nd few partner companies plays a major role in this sector, along with high-ranking govt officials, military leaders, & politicians who r involved in oil theft.

To better understand this thread i will briefly explain how oil exportation and importation works in Nigeria.
Please note every point I will list you will need them as reference as we progress, very important

1. Extraction: Oil is extracted from the ground using drilling rigs.

2. Processing: The crude oil is exported(internationally) to refineries where it is processed into refined products

3. Transportation: The processed oil are transported from the refinery to storage tanks, blending facilities, and ports, typically via pipelines or ships.

4. Export: At the port, the oil is loaded onto tankers or other vessels and shipped to Nigeria and other countries

5. Sale: The oil is sold to buyers in Nigeria at a price set by the importer (oil marketer). The government subsidizes a significant portion of the oil price to make it more affordable for citizens, a practice known as fuel subsidy.

Now let’s link the list together

Recently, Oando PLC announced the approval to acquire 100% of Nigerian Agip Oil Company. This effectively means that the Tinubu family now owns Agip Oil, which is part of Eni S.p.A., an Italian multinational oil and gas company.

Agip Oil operates 17 onshore oil blocks and produces 11 million barrels of oil and condensates annually, and it also manages the Bonny natural gas liquefaction plant. One might wonder why such a successful company would divest 100% of such a critical asset.

Observing similar situations, like the case with Dangote, suggests that this sale was not made lightly. Now, these crucial oil fields and plants in Nigeria are under the control of Tinubu through Oando PLC which is Tinubu’s family owned not even NNPC.

Continuing, with their control over substantial oil reserves in the Niger Delta and the ability to explore further through Agip Oil, their next step is refining. Instead of building a refinery in Nigeria, they opted to construct one in Malta.

This move allows them to exploit the country's resources and obscure their activities.

In early 2021, Enemed Co Ltd, the leading fuel supplier in Malta, issued a tender for the leasing of storage tanks and a blending facility at the Ras Hanzir Oil Terminal in Malta.

Ras Hanzir Oil Terminal Limited won the bidding. It is owned and operated by the Tinubu family, with Wale Tinubu, who is also the chairman of Oando PLC, serving as its chairman along with other members of the Tinubu family and their associates.

The company has already established a functioning refinery in Malta, they have now acquired the storage tanks and blending facility oil terminals, which were recently exposed to the public.

After Tinubu was sworn in as president, his first major move was to announce the removal of fuel subsidy, while the government continued to pay in secret, allowing him to increase petroleum product prices. This move was designed to benefit his own monopoly.

With the recent forced acquisition of Agip Oil by Oando PLC, Tinubu as an individual has become the largest oil exporter, explorer, and marketer in the whole country, second only to NNPC.

Here’s the pattern: Tinubu, through NNPC, will sell Nigeria’s oil to himself at a low price via his company in Malta. He will also explore, extract and export oil using his newly acquired Agip Oil Company, which operates across the Niger Delta states of Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Imo, Abia, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River.

Tinubu will then buy back the refined oil from his company in Malta through NNPC and as an oil marketer via one of his companies OVH Energy (Oando) at a higher price and export them back to Nigeria.

This scheme an extraordinary level of financial exploitation

Even after he leaves office, and Nigeria remains without refinery which he will make sure of, his Oil Monopoly over the country will remain standing. As if that is not enough, the govt will still pay him for subsidy!

He sold Over 2 Billion Dollars worth of petroleum products to Nigeria through the Malta refinery just in 2023 alone, that’s an example of what the future of Nigeria Oil importation will look like.

That’s why he will fight the Dangote refinery with everything he has; if it becomes operational, his multi-trillion-naira oil monopoly enterprise will collapse.

The price of petroleum products like fuel will keeping increasing, while he still pays himself subsidy.

Considering his age, one might wonder what he needs all this money for, other than sheer greed. It's truly disheartening

The refined oil is sold to the Nigerian public at a high price, while the subsidy, although officially removed, is still being paid secretly. Essentially, Tinubu is paying himself subsidy.

Nationwide Protest Scheduled for August 1-10, 2024

A nationwide protest titled "End Bad Government in Nigeria 2024" is scheduled to take place from August 1st to August 10th, 2024. The protest, organized under the banner "10 Days of Rage," aims to address multiple grievances against the current government. This movement is expected to be widespread, involving significant participation from various regions, tribes, and religious groups across the country.

Protest Details:

The protest will run for ten days, from August 1st to August 10th, 2024. Its main slogan, "We Are Not Slaves," emphasizes the protesters' resolve. The scope of the protest is nationwide, with major activities planned in key cities including Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and Kaduna. What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspect's account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened nor will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank.

Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police, and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.

Attention to All Stakeholders, Members, and Lovers of the Labour Party

The attention of the Labour party Stakeholders' constituted National Transition Committee* has been drawn to the call by the expired leadership of Barr. (Dr.) Julius Abure states chapters of the Labour Party to conduct congresses and for aspirants to come forward to procure nomination forms to enable them to participate in the forthcoming Local Government elections.

The National Transition Committee is advising all interested parties to shun this call in the interim because of the following reasons:

1. Expired Leadership Tenure: The leadership tenure of Barr. Abure and his group from the ward level, based on the April 8, 2023 NEC meeting during which all stakeholders and INEC were present, expired on the 9th of June 2024 and has not been renewed and will not be based on the previous demand for such extension.

2. Illegitimacy of the Nnewi Convention*: The Nnewi convention, which was to give the leadership the legitimacy to continue to act in such capacity on behalf of the party, was not accepted by the stakeholders and INEC for failing to:

- Abide by sections 4, 5, and 14 of the party's Constitution that has to do with the organization and conduct of the party's ward and state congresses and the national convention.

- Abide by the Justice Gabriel Kolawole Consent judgment of 2018, brokered by INEC for an all-inclusive convention starting from the ward, LGA, and state congresses to the national convention. The inauguration of members of the Board of Trustees was also never done up to date.

3. Advisory to Aspirants: Because of the above illegalities and constitutional breaches, and for the fact that other political parties are keenly watching the happenings in the party, the National Transition Committee is advising all interested aspirants to distance themselves from any event being organized by the expired leadership of the party to save themselves from a colossal waste of time and resources.

4. Upcoming Activities by the National Transition Committee: The National Transition Committee will soon roll out its timetable starting with:

- The registration of new members, the revalidation of old members, and the issuance of membership cards.

- Conducting ward congresses across the 8,815 wards in the Federation. (Note: since the inception of the party, no such congresses have ever taken place).

- Conducting congresses to ELECT DELEGATES to participate in the LGA election of LGA officers.

- Conducting LGA congresses to ELECT DELEGATES to participate in the state congresses to ELECT state officers.

- Conducting state congresses to ELECT DELEGATES to participate in the national convention. All these will be performed under the supervision of INEC.

- Conducting training of all officials, including delegates, on the following party documents:

- Constitution,

- The party manifesto,

- The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and

- The Electoral Act before the national convention.

- Conducting the national convention to elect the national officers.

- Following all this is the conduct of sensitization and membership drive at the ward levels.

5. Clarification on NLC and NTC: It is worthy of note that members of the National Transition Committee are not members of NLC, neither are they funded by the NLC. The narrative by the Barr. Abure group is to deceive the people that NLC is trying to take over the party from the people, and this is not true. Members of the Transition Committee are stakeholders and card-carrying members of the Labour Party drawn from the following pressure groups within the party:

- Coalition for New Nigeria (CNN) (these are members who have contested under the auspices of the party),

- Concerned Stakeholders Forum for Good Governance (CSF) (these are professionals and intellectuals in various walks of life that are currently members of the party),

- Labour Party Patriotic Members Congress (LPPMC) (these are all card-carrying members of the party that are collectively interested in due process and the growth of the party through grassroots mobilization),

- National Consultative Front (NCFront) (these are members of proscribed political parties who agreed to join the Labour Party to fight for the freedom of the soul of Nigeria)

-The Big Tent (these are behind-the-scenes members of the public who gave their resources, both human and material, to support the Labour Party, the majority of whom have adopted the Labour Party),

- All our elected members from the state houses of assembly to the National Assembly,

- Our only elected Governor,

- NLC/TUC (these are indeed statutory members of the NEC, NWC, and Board of the party).

I don't think any right-thinking person will look at this list of stakeholders and believe that we are only mischievous and don't know what we are doing or have only come to hijack the party I don't know from who actually. I think it is the opposite where we have a punch of miscreants (actually) taking possession of a party establish for the poor retired headmaster, retired Hospital attendant, popular Okada or Keke driver and a poor community leader who can win election but deprived by you because they don't have the kind of money you want to extort from them.

Note: NLC IS NOT NTC and NTC IS NOT NLC. We are only stakeholders having the same interest.
