Before I had my daughter, I thought I had life figured out. Turns out, she was my real purpose. I always dreamed of being a mom, playing “house” and “babysitter” with my older sister. Teaching only reinforced my desire, as watching those kids grow remains some of my best days.

Infertility was a challenge I never anticipated, but I’m grateful for it. It taught me to advocate for myself, become stronger, gain confidence, and deepen my faith. I believe infertility has made me a better mom.

I’ve embarked on many entrepreneurial projects, especially as a full-time content creator. This one is special because it’s dedicated to my daughter and honors my mom, who instilled in me the belief that I can achieve anything I put my heart into.

I have been working on this little passion project for months. It’s been a project I haven’t talked much about to anyone.

Infertility for me was not something I ever thought would be in the cards for me. I don’t think anyone really does…

But once you’re in it, like really in it. It can feel isolating in every sense of the word. Our IVF journey, very fortunately, was a positive one.

Now, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t one of the hardest journeys I’ve walked but… but the team we had, the support that surrounded us all made it manageable.

Every ounce of feeling like I was defeated at times was worth it.

In dark moments I had talks with other women going through infertility and I didn’t feel alone anyone. Women’s fertility is not talked about in health class… you’re told if you touch elbows, welp you just might make a baby!

You’re not talked about your hormones and the crucial role they play in your fertility and overall health.

Rise is just my way of saying, you are not alone. Not even in the slightest.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with Cabana Bay Resort and visiting 🎡🍿

It was 78 degrees the day we frolliced like kids in the park with our unlimited fast passes. ☀️🕶️

It was my frist time being pregnant at an amusement park so I thought I would share my tips incase you’re planning to vacation at or another park pregnant too!🤰🏼

There are several things you can do to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience:

🎢Check ride restrictions: Before you go, check the ride restrictions to see which rides are safe for those expecting. Many rides have height and health restrictions, including pregnancy.

💧Stay hydrated and take breaks: It's important to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks throughout the day. Make sure to drink plenty of water and take rest breaks to prevent exhaustion or overheating.

👟Wear comfortable clothes and shoes: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are appropriate for the weather and walking long distances.

🍉Eat healthy snacks and meals: Eating healthy snacks and meals throughout the day can help keep your energy levels up and prevent nausea or dizziness.

🎤Take advantage of shows and attractions: There are many shows and attractions at Universal Studios that are safe for pregnant women, including live entertainment, 3D and 4D attractions, and interactive exhibits. These are a great way to experience the park without the risks associated with rides.

One of the best things I did for myself as a creator ….👀

Opened up a business bank account! 💰

I was able to write off 90% of our vacation as a creator utilizing my business bank account.

Here’s 2 BIG reasons why I opened up a business account:

✅ Separation of personal and business finances: As a creator, you are likely receiving payments from brand collaborations, affiliate marketing, or sponsorships. By opening a separate business bank account, you can keep your personal finances separate from your business finances. This will help you better manage your money and keep track of your business expenses.

✅ Tax purposes: By having a separate business bank account, it will be easier for you to keep track of your business expenses and income for tax purposes. This will simplify the process of filing your taxes and reduce the risk of making errors or missing important deductions.

Take me back to the sand, sun & 80 degree weather!🌴☀️

I loved being able to explore, swim and adventure with in Orlando!🐬

We had our own private cabana looking over one of the dolphin coves which is actually home to one of the oldest dolphins who happened to be in my favorite movie, Jaws 🦈 (aka marine mammal royalty!)

is an all inclusive resort hosting breakfast, lunch and snacks for their guests!

After breakfast we made our way over to the dolphin swim! This was my second time swimming with dolphins and by far my favorite.

Next we snorkeled, laid out, viewed some of the other amazing animals at the park and took full advantage of the beautiful lazy River!

I told Dave this day was right up there with our wedding day as I was in my element! 😂 We are already itching to go back.

Nothing says love like ditching chilly temps for some much needed sunshine! ☀️🌴

I had the pleasure of staying at last year and the second time around is just as sweet!

We kicked off our Valentines Day with a dip in the pool and breakfast at Gatorville 🐊

Wyndham Orlando Restort I-Drive is located right in the middle of the (which we experienced last year!!) and lots of the other parks.

Today was so much needed R&R and tomorrow we’re tackling a park! Any guesses as to which one?🎢

Baby Place is a GIRL!💕

Dave and I knew the gender right before our transfer and we couldn’t be happier.

Dave as a girl dad? 🤤Can’t wait to watch her wrap him around her finger.

Little life update:

🤢 Between week 6 to week 10 was by far the worst for me. I was pretty much surviving off saltines, B6 & Unisom.

🎀 Dave and I purchased a few baby items for the first time and I was pretty emotional about it (more so than any of the ultrasound visits).

🎓 We graduated from our fertility clinic in NYC!

🍔 Protein has been one of the only things helping keep my nausea at bay.

✈️ We have several trips planned which take me out of the cold so I am very excited about it.

Including baby girl’s first girls trip to Nashville with her auties.

🤰🏼We’ve already got her name picked out and will be sharing it in the future!

Baby Place coming August 2023!
Our first IVF transfer was a success. I cannot put into words the overwhelming gratitude I have for for helping us start our little family. They’ve shown us nothing but support, grace, knowledge and compassion throughout our journey.

IVF was one of the most physically, financially and emotionally draining times in Dave and I’s life. Countless mornings before the sun rose to drive to NYC from New Hampshire. Many days we did an 8 hour round trip just for bloodwork and ultrasound monitoring.

Every struggle was worth it to be officially pregnant with our sweet little peanut.

If you’re on this journey of IVF, IUI or it’s taking more time than you’d like to conceive - know you are not alone. The infertility community is a strong one, without the support of other women enduring the same battle, I don’t know what I would have done.

Just keep going and know that you are much more resilient than you think you are.

What would you do to keep your neighbors and your community safe? 🏙

Being a Boston native I am proud to call this city home. The autumn season, history, medical, education and our sports teams make Boston truly a wonderful place to grow and thrive.

Whichever city you call home, there will always be moments that are challenging as a community. In these moments, we all need to come together to support each other!

Unfortunately, Boston’s opioid crisis combined with COVID-19 has increased drug use, overdoses and infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis C. Everyday someone’s loved one is impacted.

Amazing research allows us to find tools that work to limit the spread of these diseases.

Personally, I have had two loved ones experience both HIV and hepatitis C and it’s something no one should have to watch their family or friends struggle with. Infectious diseases often spread through the use of certain drugs, so providing safe and clean supplies when these drugs are used means we’re protecting the lives and futures of our neighbors and loved ones.

I am grateful to be teaming up to come together with the city of Boston to share resources that can help save lives. ♥️

This time last year I decided to bet on myself.

I ended up taking content creation full-time October 2021 and truthfully did not know what on earth I was getting myself into.

I have always had an employer and honestly liked having one. There was a sense of comfort, stability and I knew what to expect…

I realize today, how amazing it is to work for yourself. To honestly fail, learn and grow from it all. You always get back up stronger, more knowledgeable and better than before!

In a year I have:

💰 Surpassed any income I’ve made from any job I’ve ever had.

Where to find REAL brand & PR contacts as a creator? 👀🔎

The Nancy Drew struggle is very real when you’re on the hunt for the decision maker of the brand you’re hoping to work with.

You can spend hours DMing, searching Google, websites, Linkedin and paying for email scraping plugins that don’t even have updated emails.

You may even send out a bunch of emails only to hear crickets in your inbox…💤

3 years of marriage 🧡

3 (serious) things I’ve learned in marriage…

◽️Caring about the other person’s perspective is key. You come together as “one” but you’re both still very much individuals with your own feelings, thoughts and past experiences. Learning to be understanding of where the other is coming from is key!

◽️Going to bed angry is absolutely fine. Now, don’t get me wrong - if you can problem solve before bedtime, great! If not, it’s probably best to sleep it off and come back to the conversation with a rested mind.

◽️50/50 isn’t a real thing. Some days you’ll need to be the stronger partner, and on other days it will be them. It’s a balance and it’s also called “being human” - it’s okay to be down and need help from your wife or husband.

3 (not so serious) things I’ve learned in marriage…

🌡 ❄️One of you will strive to live in a home full of 71 degrees, cozy blankets and on going fireplace. The other will wish to live in an artic tundra. This will be the bulk of arguments.

🎃🎄 One of you will embrace each season and holiday a healthy amount and the other will make it their personality trait and go slightly overboard.

🚘🤷🏼‍♀️ One of you will take care of the family cars and the other will always run on E and forget when the last oil change was…

Here’s to many more years of learning, loving and growing together!

I had the most amazing time celebrating the launch of the Social Collective app at enjoying a delicious and very beautiful dinner at Trifecta inside the hotel.

The cozy, and stunning cocktail lounge brings to life a captivating cocktail list and mouth-watering menu. I had the best kale salad I have ever had (not to be dramatic) and indulged in a stylized charcuterie board and Elixir cocktail.
