📢Event coordinators…

STOP asking small businesses and makers to donate their time and products to your event!

Exposure DOES NOT pay the light bill and most small business owners are very much in the “if I don’t work, I don’t eat” camp.

If you want to highlight a product or service at minimum - offer to pay for supplies, offer a meal, transportation… SOMETHING!!!

Small businesses and makers - STOP allowing people to take advantage of you! Know your worth!

You know when you are like 'oh I know this' and then you can't find anything to confirm your knowing...

and then you remember that it was a BIG part of the plot in 1 specific episode of a show you binge watched 2.5 years ago...

so you google the basics of the episode - but you can't remember the name of the show, because it was a spin of from another show you binge watched, so you have to google that too...

only to find out in the end that you were right!?!?!? And you say out loud - "Dammit, shoulda just trusted your gut on this one!"

just me? ok cool... I see this is how my brain is going to work today!

Utilize the software/Platforms available to maximize your work time...

do you need a months worth of Reels/TikTok videos? Record 1 video at least 5 minutes long and utilize a clipping software that will create a handful of short form videos that can be scheduled.
