Been monitoring the Severe Weather threat for Tuesday and Wednesday...

Now a few things have changed a bit since yesterday's post, if you remember yesterday's post the Highlighted 15% for Tuesday included parts of Kansas, Oklahoma including the Tulsa area and the 15% also reached all the way up to near Kansas City, MO yesterday!!

Today they trimmed a bit of that 15% area this now no longer includes parts of Kansas as it did yesterday they also trimmed it back from the Kansas City, MO area as well, Now parts of Oklahoma is still included within that 15% but the Tulsa Area is now not included..

This 15% area for Tuesday stretches from parts of IN, across Illinois including the Springfield Illinois area, and it also extends down into parts of Missouri with St. Louis and the Springfield, MO area being included with this 15% it also extends down into Arkansas and Oklahoma...

So Severe Weather is still looking possible for Tuesday but still monitoring it though..

Looking at Wednesday well they have also trimmed that 15% as well so it now mostly includes states like KY, TN, MS, AL, and GA and some parts of LA, and AR is also included in it as well!!

Now alittle bit more uncertainty has increased heading into Wednesday.. But I'm still continuing to monitor both days for severe weather and will have more updates as we get closer. But as of now severe weather still looking possible!!!!

🌪UPDATE ON SEVERE POSSIBILITIES 🌪

Severe weather still looking possible as models continue to show a powerful mid- to upper-level trough ejecting into the central U.S. by late Tuesday into Wednesday.

With that being said the SPC ( Storm Prediction Center ) has highlighted a 15% probability area for both Tuesday the 27th stretching from parts of Oklahoma across Missouri and into Illinois and Wednesday the 28th across parts of MO, AR, TN, KY, IL, IN, OH, and MS, AL...

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this as we start approaching the 27th and 28th and in the meantime folks if you haven't already now would be a great time to go over your Severe Safety Plan with your family and be prepared!!!

Great day to spend some time in Branson, MO!! Went down to the Branson Landing and looked around at some stores and just kinda spent the afternoon in Branson!!

The temperatures were absolutely amazing out as well!!

Flowers are starting to pop-up and some bushes are starting to bud out as well!! I also did notice some Honey Bees buzzing around while I was doing some of this photography!!

Keeping an eye on the potential for maybe some Severe weather around the 26th to 27th time frame as a trough ejection is expected there is also adequate amount of moisture return around that time frame as well!!

Now this is something I've just been monitoring and nothing that is set in stone completely but I can say that models have been pretty consistent with this potential setup!!

So this is definitely something to keep an eye as we get closer and I'll be sure to continue monitoring this! We might just have to activate chase mode for this potential setup..

TORNADOES POSSIBLE ACROSS CALIFORNIA TOMORROW...

A slight risk has been highlighted across the Central Valley Of California.

With that slight risk we have a 5% Tornado probability area and a Wind threat too..

This isn't something you see everyday out in California but it does and can happen!

An isolated risk for a tornado is forecast across the Central Valley of California on Monday afternoon and early evening.

As the environment is indicating some favorable conditions for shallow rotating cells, The more robust storms will potentially yield an isolated threat for a tornado in addition to localized gusts.

Be sure to have a way to receive those Watches and Warnings tomorrow!! Especially if you live in places like Sacramento California you guys are included in that 5% tornado probability!!

This is a paper that Reed Timmer Extreme Meteorologist done on a rocket that he launched in a tornado 🌪 I read through it and it's most certainly a really great read!! Be sure to check it out if you haven't already!!

In this trajectory where the yellow color show speeds of 80+ m/s, you can clearly see two different scales of rotation with the tornado cyclone and parent mesocyclone, which was mostly dead straight tilted ascent also with wind speeds of 80+ m/s. Ultimate goal is many sensors simultaneously and released from the ground to sample the near-ground winds

Severe weather is possible today, there is a Marginal risk that has been highlighted over portions of Arkansas and West Tennessee!

This is mostly the threat for a few hail-producing storms through the early evening as we have a 5% Hail probability within that marginal risk area!!

Could experience some cooler temperatures through this weekend, but on the bright side folks check this out 👇 this is the 6-10 day Temperature outlook and as you can see we should be seeing some above normal temperatures!!!!

TORNADO DAMAGE - This was on March 17th, 2021 and most chasers were chasing a High risk that was highlighted across parts of MS, and AL!

But I had decided to target a surface low that was expected to track across parts of Missouri that day and ended up seeing a few Supercells and one of the Supercells actually produced an EF-1 Tornado that caused this damage in Wheelerville, MO!

Covering some of this Winter Weather this afternoon as we had a Winter Storm Warning that was in effect for parts of Southwest, MO here's a few clips of that snowfall we got. With some of this snowfall impacting some of those Cedar Trees due to the weight of snow.

🌪STRONG TORNADOES COULD BE POSSIBLE TODAY 🌪

Severe weather is expected today as there is a Highlighted Enhanced risk from Southeast TX, to Central LA/MS.

We could see a few tornadoes, some of which could be strong, also very large hail to the size of baseballs could be possible and isolated wind damage.

So all hazards possible, the map included below is that 10% Significant hatched rate tornado probability area for the threat of a few Strong tornadoes being possible.

Have a way to receive those Watches and Warnings today!! We already have some Watches already in place with a Tornado Watch for portions of Southeast TX.

I'm curious to see who all received any Hail or Storm Damage from Last Night's?? Missouri or Arkansas Followers??

I know that East End, AR had a Tornado due to storms last night Confirmed EF-1 Tornado!!

Let me know in the comment section what you seen, if you received any Storm Damage or Hail and be sure to leave the location it was observed at!!

I ventured out yesterday evening on a Marginal risk and tracked a few storms they had some pretty decent structure they were kinda still in the developing stage, but still yet they had some mini supercellular structure with them!!

⚠️SEVERE WEATHER TODAY ACROSS TEXAS ⚠️
‼️ MAPS OF THE RISK IN COMMENTS‼️👀

A slight risk has been highlighted across Central Texas as thunderstorms with large hail, isolated damaging winds, and a tornado or two are expected.

I'm also watching the potential for severe weather tomorrow as well with another slight risk highlighted across Southeast TX, Central/Southern LA, parts of Central/ Southern MS, and parts of Western AL.

Now this setup looks to have the potential for all modes of severe weather ranging from Large Hail to the potential for some Tornadoes as well.

So definitely active severe weather over the next couple days, be sure to have a way to receive those Watches and Warnings!!

Severe weather might be possible today into tonight...

Marginal risk has been highlighted across parts of Northeast TX into the Lower Ohio Valley!!

Severe thunderstorms could be possible from the ArkLaTex region into portions of the lower Ohio Valley mainly late this afternoon and tonight.

Isolated wind damage, some hail and a tornado could be possible as we have that 2% tornado probability in place with this setup.

More storms are also possible tomorrow aross parts of Texas and I'm also monitoring a chance for severe storms Sunday with a Slight risk highlighted across East TX, LA, MS, and Southwest AL!
