LOS ANGELES WILDFIRE UPDATE:

Well folks I'm sure by now you have heard about the Devastating wildfire that have been taking place in California!!

Here's a quick update regarding those fires 🔥

🌲 Palisades Fire: 23,713 acres burned; 13% containment. Over 5,000 structures destroyed,
including homes and cultural landmarks.
🌲 Eaton Fire: 14,117 acres burned; 27% containment. Extensive destruction in Altadena and
Pasadena areas.
🌲 Hurst Fire: 799 acres burned; 89% containment. Progress being made.
⚠ Weather Alert:
The National Weather Service has issued a PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) Red Flag
Warning for Los Angeles and Ventura counties due to strong Santa Ana winds and dry conditions.
Residents are urged to stay vigilant and follow evacuation orders!

Also want to say my thoughts and prayers go out to all the people who were affected by these fires and for the people who have lost loved ones due to these devastating wildfires!!

MORE WINTER WEATHER???

Well folks it looks like we will have to start monitoring for the next potential shot at Winter Weather watching Jan. 18th-20th for what could be another shot of cold air plus the potential for some significant winter weather across the lower 48! Below is a graphic provided by the NWS outlining the region that could receive heavy snow around that time frame!

It's definitely worth watching!!!

Winter storm impacted the area last night into today with large amounts of snowfall accumulation! I measured around 6 inches of snow here where I'm located at!!

Newest update on the Winter storm across the Ozarks!! Looks like that Winter Storm Warning now includes our Counties near the Arkansas/Missouri state line and a few other counties here across the Ozarks have been included as well!!

1 to 3 inches will affect our northern counties, 3 to 5 inches across the south, and 6 to 10 inches of potential snowfall the further south you get!!

❄️❄️❄️❄️WINTER STORM UPDATE❄️❄️❄️❄️

Another round of Winter Weather inbound, Winter Storm Warnings have been put in place across parts of Texas, Oklahoma, almost all of Arkansas, parts of Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Missouri!

Arkansas will be looking at a wide range of snow accumulation depending on location 4-5 inches will be possible across parts of the northern portion of the state which other places will see 6 to even 7 inches of snowfall and once you start getting down towards the Little Rock, AR and Hot Springs, AR area that's where we will be talking big time amounts of 9 to even 10 inches of snowfall accumulation!!

Parts of Oklahoma that is included in the winter storm Warning you guys will be looking at 2 to 7 inches of snow being possible with locally higher amounts possible as well!

TEXAS:

Folks include in the Winter Storm Warning across Texas you guys will be looking at Snowfall accumulations of 2 to 5 inches will be possible in the warning area, and isolated amounts up to 8 inches within more intense bands north & northeast of the DFW Metroplex .

HERE ACROSS THE OZARKS:

If you live here across Missouri we are under a Winter Weather Advisory I still believe we will be looking at 2 to 4 inches of snowfall accumulation. However if you shift your focus over to the Winter Storm Warning in the Missouri Bootheel that's where 3 to 5 inches of snowfall will be possible!!

That's just a few locations I covered in this post, but there is alot of people being affected by this Winter Storm and it's all dependent on your location and I recommend to get exact details for your location you can always go to https://www.weather.gov/ to get exact snowfall accumulation information for your area!!

WINTER STORM DUMPS LARGE AMOUNTS OF SNOW: Winter storm impacted the area last night into today with large amounts of snowfall accumulation! I measured around 6 inches of snow here where I'm located at!!

Last night winter weather impacted there area, I didn't get alot of snow here where I'm located at in Southwest, MO however the main story was the Flash Freeze the rapid drop in temperature causing the rain that fell earlier on to freeze on the roadways and surfaces. The roads here, well it appears they still have some patchy slick areas but surprisingly don't look all that bad! And we did receive some lower end snow amounts here!!

SNOW FALLING IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI: Snow was starting to fall here in Southwest Missouri ( Stone County ) not long ago I shot this video however it does appear to have stopped falling recently! How's the winter weather looking where you are located?

Cumulonimbus clouds are so awesome to watch go up! Especially when they explosively go up! 😍 💣

CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING: Cloud-to-ground lightning is considered the most dangerous type of lightning, as it directly strikes the ground and poses a significant threat to people and property on the surface however it's often one of my favorite types of lightning to capture photos or video of because it's so intense! Often times storms about to produce a tornado have significant cloud-to-ground lightning and typically when the CG bolt strikes you can hear a loud "BOOM" followed! This storm near Seligman, MO earlier this year was pretty electrifying slinging CG Bolts all over the place and it had a HUGE hail core and had alittle rotation earlier on within it's life cycle!

Storm Damage around Cape Fair, MO caused by the Tornado Warned Supercell I was tracking yesterday evening... The NWS storm survey says that it was straight-line winds that caused the damage across Cape Fair.

Flooding I covered along the Finley River in Ozark, MO today... The River actually flooded the Finley River Park itself, causing the picnic tables, playground equipment, etc.. to be submerged in the flood water's!

Busy day out chasing today!! Here is a look at the Hail Core with some strong winds I intercepted in Seligman, MO earlier today! Sheltered in a local car wash to prevent any window damage by the Hail!! It was an insane intercept.... I'll be going through other footage and creating a full video of my Chase today to upload on my YouTube Channel at some point!!

Quite the Lightning show last night!! Probably one of the best ones I've seen in a bit!! Here's a clip I have put together of some of the bolts I caught last night near Branson, MO... To be exact I actually shot the video of the Lightening around the Buffalo Ridge area!! Check it out!!! 🌩⚡️🌩⚡️🌩

CHECK OUT THIS THUNDER ⚡ This was that cell near Joplin, MO the other day had some nice lightning bolts with it that's forsure and some real deep thunder... Also look at that Base/Lowering trying to organize on this storm..

Check this out!! This is of a short little Timelapse video I got of the Supercell that was producing a Tornado Near Monett/Aurora MO May 8th, 2024! There are a couple of cool features actually happening in this video, 1. You see the spiraling rain-bands around the meso where the tornado is actually ongoing behind us this is also called the Bears Cage.. 2. You can see this inflow tail being pulled in or feeding into the storms circulation!! But be sure to check it out!! I thought it would be cool to share with you guys!!
